Holiday Countdown!!!!

:banghead: Rage! Todays weight is 16st 0lbs that means I've put on 6lbs in 2wks which is terrible. Then I discover I have no cereal and then had to have toast for breakfast but um having sandwich for lunch so too much bread. Feel like I will Def need to work out somehow today but not feeling motivated plus I don't really know what to do. Feel like trying running but dont know how long or how often.perhaps i'll Google that later....

Double RAGE!!! Had such a completely bad day. I am incredibly embarrassed by what I have eaten today so I wont bother. But tomorrow one thing is for sure I am not taking my purse to work tomorrow just my healthy sandwich yogurt and apple so i can't buy anything bad!

Tomorrow is definatley it. I know so many people say start tomorrow start tomorro but I 100% am definately gonna....watch this space. i'm off to find some challenges to keep me on my toes.

hey Sky_bunny,

I was reading your diary and I can see we kinda have things in common. What I learned browsing this site and may'be could help you a bit is:
a) never decide that tomorrow your gonna start or restart your diet when your stomach is full. try to make that decision between meals or in the morning: rise and shine...sun is up...today I'm gonna eat healthy!
b) another thing I saw around here...a lot of people say ' I'm gonna start next Monday!' why Monday? isn't Tuesday good enough? OR ANY OTHER DAY OF THE WEEK? how about: ' from this moment on...'
c) I'll start dieting after I finish what's in the fridge :)) that is from someone's cousin...no more details! the rest of the family can finish it...if they're not on diet...if they don't have weight problems!!
d) a very low calorie diet is unsustainable long term...that's what I started off...allowance of 800 kcal per day.
e) diet without exercise means that the final results may not be as you hoped( pyshical appearance) and for this I thank AMY1985.
And I too think that I failed to find as much of motivation and support on here than I hoped. I appreciated the replies I've got but still...didn't found myself part of the team. May'be the 2 of us could become buddies and fight on this together because it is kind of hard.

Kind regards!
Mady

Hi,

Thanks for reading and leaving your comment. About 6wks ago I was following a diet of 1400cals per day on exercise days and 1200 on no exercise days and now I appreciate that that is not enough. I do try an exercise. I cant afford a gym membership so I rely a lot on the weather which has been terrible here lately though the weather this weekend has been good. Got out on a run yesterday and was out on my bike for about 3hrs today so i'm pleased.
I'd love it if we became diet buddies. I've had a good day Friday and a good day today...so far anyway and I don't want to give up again.

Thanks for your support. Check up with you soon xx

Hi! You know reading your diary is very familiar to me! I'm a huge binge eater and i will eat terrible things for days. I get the on Monday I am going to start a new diet so UNTIL then I am going to eat everything in sight so that I am never tempted by these foods again.. but that's never true lol Of course you want to eat chocolate again someday! For me its just letting go of my all or nothing attitude because I can't be perfect for the rest of your life.

Good job about biking for 3 hours! Maybe you could also check out some workouts online? I have a hard time doing anything outdoors because for me its always either too hot or too cold where I am and the milder weather to go out is always either too early or too late lol. I enjoy the online workouts and I also enjoy the fact that I don't have to worry about trying to drive anywhere.

I hope you have a fabulous week! You can do it just take 1 day at a time :) I wish I could have hurried my results up but your body does what it does and so patience and perseverance is the key :) Then its just perseverance because at some point you realize you have made your goal lol

Thank u sooo much for taking the time to read my diary. Im still struggling big time. I'm going out on my bike again tomorrow. I love going out in my bike cos it doesn't feel like exercise everything else feels like a chore lol. I am going to have a great rest of the week. I hope u do too. Thanks again xx

Hey again Ski Bunny, youre doing so well!!! you can totally do this i know it, just imagine all the years of crap comments, feeling crap and feeling like you look like crap in comparison to everyone. Then imagine walking down the street and seeing someone you once were ridiculed by, and you look your best. So much so they dont even recognise you. Imagine reminding them and seeing their facial expression. Imagine your friends and family complimenting you for how you look, and imagine not having all the aches and pains and fluctuating sugar levels that come with being overweight.

Thats what i did and it was more than enough to motivate me.

You can do it! xx

Hello holly,
Thank u. I've done good Tue and today and feeling happy, I'm not feeling sluggish or bloated a bit irritated at times cos I'm thinking constantly of biscuits lol! But otherwise I'm doing good. Weigh day Friday for the other challenges I'm doing so hopefully good news and I've done a good bit more exercise than I normally would. Just 20-30mins out on my bike but better than nothing xx

Had my weigh in today for the July challenge and the fitte not fatty for 2012 challenge and definately liked what i saw. I must've missed a weigh day or something though but in total i've lost 12.3lbs - i'll take that. The challenges are definately helping keeping me on my toes. I feel brill.

So yesterday I ate really well
Breakfast: 30g cornflakes
Lunch: mushroom couscous with 4 mini oatcakes with hummus
Dinner: haddock fillets with tomato and chili sauce, medeterranean roasted veg and potatoes
But I was still 700cal overestimated due to booze. I drank a bottle of wine, 4 bottles of cider and 1 bottle of beer. Greer

Today I'm having rice krispies for breakfast and sundried tomato and garlic couscous with 4 mini oatcakes and hummus. That means I gave over 1000 calories for dinner and I'm making a steak pie yummy, cannot wait. I'm having it with roast potatoes and butter beans and carrots. Then the rest of the week I'll need to under eat by about 200 calories a day to make back what I overate yesterday. And I need to fit in 3 workouts nxt wk and a lot of studying I'll b a busy bee.
