Also, if you're truly relying on daily weights as a means of monitoring loss, be prepared for some disappointment - your weight will fluctuate daily, and it isn't just fat. Maybe too much salt the day before, or you haven't gone to the bathroom yet, it's all showing up on the scale. That being said, I try to weigh myself daily just as a motivator/reminder to keep me going.
