Hmm... Found a good pushup

Well I was trying some stuff with pushups last night, I find them easier to do, since I don't get to use weights.

Normal pushups were far too easy, so I wouldn't get any gains from them. I tested things out.

I noticed that while my legs were at a higher level than my head, it forced a lot of weight onto multiple muscles, abs, biceps, triceps, delts, abs, and a great chest workout.

I put my feet onto a foot rest, and did pushups that way, kind of like a inclined bench.

Just pointing this out, to you people who can't afford weights, or are having trouble getting some. They're much better than normal pushups.

Here are some push-up tips, if you're interested:

u ever try doin pushups on a swiss ball? it emphasizes ur core muscles :]

try it. its great too. and using a medicine ball, doing pushups on one hand.

man i tried both of what you guys said a long time ago. I did it on the medicine ball and incline... they kept on getting way too easy for me so i kept raising the incline until i was basically upside down and it was mostly my shoulders doing all the work so i stopped. I just upped the intensity of my chest workout since pushups mostly workout your chest

how many reps can you do at once ? lol

Dude, be careful if you're just doing it on a raised object, like a chair something like that. Because it puts a lot of pressure on your lower back.

I like push ups between two chairs (and a third one for my feet to avoid the decline-like effect). It offers a greater range of motion than regular. I like to place weight on my back as well via a back pack etc. This was how I used to do push ups before the gym membership.

handstand push ups are way harder than normal push ups...wted push ups with 50kg with feet elevated parallel on gymnastic rings is the best chest exercise i've ever done

try doin 1 hand pushups on the ground. its very very challenging :]
