Hip Flexors

just started football again im gonna be playing hb and lb so i need to increse my speed, ive heard strengthening your hip flexors can increase speed and vertical jump( which i will really need for basketball season) so i was wondering if you guys know any good moves for increasing hip flexors.

You are also going to need to do wind sprints and bounds. (Bounds - that's what we called it in track...where you pretty much jump off one foot as high as you can back to back...like skipping, but doing it as high as you can...works great for your vert). Doing the two of those will help with your off the line quickness too.

i probably will be but its not as serious as high school or anything im 13 and i practise 3 times a week 1 game a week, but i played both ways last year, just i was fb instead of hb but still i need to improve strength and quickness, so i was just wondering.
