HIIT on elliptical

i am fairly new to HIIT, but have heard of it before and really want to start it. i usually am on the elliptical for 30 min every morning and was wondering if there is a good workout using HIIT. my elliptical has 10 levels. any suggestions would be appretiated thanks
 
You can try this basic approach.....

- warm up for five minutes
- One Round: Do 1 minute as hard as you can ( on a scale of 1-10....shoot for a level 9 or 10 ). Then recover at a moderate pace (a level 6-7 intensity) for 2 minutes. So, ' One Round ' is 3 minutes long.
- Cool down for five minutes.​

Perform 6 Rounds....the total cardio time workout including warm up and cool down should be around 30 minutes or so
