high protein shakes

i know people say to use them before and after a workout but are u supposed to drink one everyday? i dont have enough to do that and my dad isnt going to buy a case of them a week. or am i using the wrong type. should i get powder. if so i dont know if the store has any of it.

go with powder man, the premade stuff in cans usually isn't the greatest.
Powder would also equal out to be cheaper for the quality your getting.
Look up a nearby nutrition store and they will for sure have 'whey' protein powder. I would say research the good quality and reputable brands in the biz, and buy what you think is best for you.

tell your dad

"yo pops, look at this

i need to get this protein powder because a good supply of amino acids both before and after a workout supplies vital nutrients that my body needs from pushing and pulling bone crushing weight. there are 85 servings in this powder. 85 divided by 2 is 42.5. so that means this container will last me 42 and a half days. and you know what, it'll last me more than that because i learned from the really swell and happening ppl on the world fitness message board that i do not have to workout every single day to develop the body i always wanted. so this one container of protein powder will last me for almost 2 months and its less than 25 dollars."

:)

well i went to GNC and the smallest amount to buy was like the size of maybe a jerky bag and it was $10. with a price like that im sure i'll probably have to buy that stuff. is GNC a good brand. there was some other brand there too but i didnt look at it, though i think it was cheeper compared with size.

so is this stuff supposed to be taken everyday or just before and after workouts?

gnc is a decent brand. before and after workouts would be good choices. some ppl use it during the day also if they need more protein in there meals, but thats up to each person. ;)

ok thanks!
