Blood pressure significantly increases when someone is doing overhead work e.g. shoulder presses etc. Even exercises like flat bench prench as the heart has to work harder against gravity for the blood to be transported to working muscles.
Whats peoples thoughts on this?
If a guy/lady exercises with already high blood pressure surely this is going to cause problems?
What about if it is under control with meds and they are getting a normal BP reading?
Jst a few things to think about?
Is it really worth someone pressing overhead when an alternative could be given (unless body builiding probably)?
