The.last.ten.lbs.
Ok. I've decided that after getting a lot of inspiration from everyone's diaries, it's time for me to start my own. I think it will really make me accountable and help be keep focused and motivated. I'm a 27 yrs. old female grad student in NYC and am trying to get serious about losing the last 10 lbs. to my goal weight. I'm 5'6" - 128lbs. trying to get down to 117lbs. So, ok, I guess it's the last 11 lbs.
I love to run, take classes at my gym, go on huge walks around the city, and listen to records.
I have been having a hard time because 1.) I just moved from California where there are tons of inexpensive healthy eating options / markets vs. being in New York and surrounded by deli's. 2.) just started Grad school and working in an office which really cuts into my exercise routine and the stress and new schedule making me pig out!
Hopefully, I can avoid the office temptations (why do they always bring in snacks... those handfuls add up!) and take a good look at long term patterns in diary form.
Thanks for having a great forum. Talk to you later.
ps. I'm not sure if this is actually how I post to a diary, I've looked up in FAQ but it doesn't really have an answer. I am thinking I just keep replying to my post, right? or is a thread just for a question/ comments and you journal somewhere else. If anyone can clear this up for me I would love it, sorry to be so incompetent, I really look forward to getting some feedback on diet and work out tips -so I hope this works. Bye for now!
