Hi Everyone! I'm new to the forum and I started my weightloss journey in May. I hope to keep it up and lose about 100 pounds but I'm not sure if thats even possible since I have about 167lbs of lean mass. But I'll keep trying even though every single pound is a hard battle.
Before: 271lbs

During: I think this is around 25 pounds lost

You're doing great! And you can definitely see the difference in your face - which is adorable by the way :D

Keep it up!

Thank you.

Thanks for all the encouraging words and compliments everyone. It's really really tough to lose the weight. My body wants to hold on to every single pound which is frustrating. You know how when people are really overweight and they start a plan to lose weight they suddenly drop 10 to 20 pounds immediately? Yeah for some reason my body never did that.

Also I was wondering if anyone on this site has been overweight their whole life? Cause I have. Well since about the age of 7. So I feel like things are harder cause I'm not quite sure I'll ever be thin. For example, I got my BMI and weight and measurement done by a trainer and I have 167 pounds of lean mass. Lean mass! My lean mass alone puts me as being overweight at my height. So will I ever get to be a size 8 or 10? Cause it doesn't seem likely. Also I carry 90% of my weight in my middle. So even after 30 pounds of weight loss I haven't dropped a single size. Oh and that picture at the top my before is a ridiculously horrible picture. But it was the only full body shot I had. So really people are only starting to notice a difference now but it seems like i've only lost weight in my face.

I've been pretty heavy my whole life. It's pretty much "genetic" I guess for me. Plus, my mom never knew how to cook right for me either!!! This is the first time I've ever lost weight, so I know kinda what you're going though. I think the key for me has been to drink plenty of water and take vitamins to help me stay strong. I'm pretty muscular myself, so I doubt my thighs and calves will ever get much smaller....but we'll see!!!!

Where there's weight to loose, you can do it. :) I promise! Good Luck!
