Hi everyone, I'm new!!!

Hi everyone i'm new on here and i've been checking out the site and it looks great so far. I'm learning a lot of new things. well let me start off by saying I started working out last thursday.

I originally started at 6'-0" and at 267lbs
I weighed myself in yesterday and i'm at 254.3lbs

I'm on my way to 200 but I know it's going to be a very hard to reach my goal but I got passed my slouch stage of not wanting to go to the gym and now I go to the gym whenever I have nothing to do or whenever I have nothing to do. Right now I'm eating twice a day but from being on this site I know that I have to spread my meals into 5 small meals. what other advice can you give me on loosing more weight effectively?

Definitely split your meals into 5-6 throughout the day.

Also, just a few general guidelines - drink a lot of water, it's good for you, helps to reduce appetite, and well, we'd die without it

Get enough rest, your body just doesn't function as well without it

Don't just eat fewer calories, but make sure you are eating quality - whole wheat carbs, lean protein, fruits and veggies
