Hey

Hey guys,

I'm new to this board,, came from the m&f board for various reasons..

Anyways, let me introduce myself.

I've been working out with the all-around Bowflex for about a year,, then switched over to free weights since last May.

I'm no fitness guru or trainer, but i've learned a lot throughout the years from very helpful people at the gym and from the other forum.

I hope to share valuable knowledge with all of ya'll and just have fun on this board.

My current stats --

Height 5' 6'' (asian genetics)
Weight: 160
Bench Press: 3x160
Squat: 8x225
Deadlift: 200
Not sure about Bf %

hello mrdan.

i use to post on the m&f board back in 2001 i believe. they had alot of knowledge guys there. but then the board format got changed and most of them had stopped posting so i moved also.

I've visited another forum for fitness as well. Started coming here more frequently as the other forum seemed more focused on mumbo jumbo BS post versus fitness discussion. BS is fine and dandy, don't get me wrong. However, the BS far outweighed the on topic, intelligent conversation. :(

I come here essentially exclusively. I check the other forum on occassion, as I do have a couple of topics authored there, but hardly anyone replies. There is much knowledge and wisdom here. Moreso than was evident at the other.

i work at a desk for 8-10 hours a day so i participate on almost 20 different boards. the ones with alot of traffic have the most problems.

the quiet ones like this one are nice to come to. no flame wars, no posts asking the same questions over and over.

Similar here. I work at a desk for 10 hours on Wed, 6 hours on Thur, and 12 hours on both Fri & Sat. I check out other forums of varying interests too, but this is the best fitness one I have found.

Being a law enforcement student, I frequent a couple of police forums too. :)
