I think you should drink regular water if you want to lose weight. Vitamin water might give you excess calories.

Skip for longer, 10 minutes won't get you anywhere. More like, it's the amount of exercise AFTER the initial 10..or 15 minutes - that's when fat starts to burn. Before that, more accessible energy methods are used.

If you do a 15 minute jog as a warm-up, then skip for half an hour, that will be good.

There are also some good bodyweight exercises you can do if you don't have any equipment or gym access. (use the search)

There are some sites dedicated to bw exercise as well.

From what I know about Vitamin Water they use crystalline fructose as a sweetener. Thats something I do not know the nutritional standpoint of (from you experts) I know that it comes from cornstarch, now correct me if I am wrong... Corn Starch Hydrolysis, is a process that (blah blah blah) creates dextrose, corn syrup, maltodextrin, high fructose corn syrup, and crystalline fructose.

Now which side do I put crystalline fructose on? The good side (dextrose) or the bad side (HSCS)?

Now if crystalline fructose checks out, Vitamin water would not be a too bad of a choice. But keep water primary, and keep vitamin water to a minimum.

Yeah, you can get all the vitamins you need from regular foods, and from supplementing a good multivitamin. Definitely look into weight lifting, body weight, whatever...that is the biggest boost you can give you body and will help greatly induce fat loss. HIIT is excellent too, research it here and give it a whirl, starting slow. Those 2 combined with any extra cardio, as well as a great diet, and you can lose as much fat as you desire without sacrificing muscle.

Is this the same sweetener they use in Diet Pepsi? If so, I'm sure i'll just lose weight from quitting drinking the 100-120oz of diet pepsi I drank daily for 6+ years.

Why so much vitamin water? One bottle has 125 calories, which my friend informed me is 1/2 a jelly donut (I used to drink a lot of them before I realized this!)- if that's all you're drinking, those are going to add up to a lot of empty calories, that are going to inhibit your weight loss.

Truth.

I also did the research and crystalline fructose is basically HFCS, so vitamin water is about the same thing as all sports drinks (poweraide, gatorade, etc) and should be avoided.

tru i did i join a gym, im goin 5-6 days a week, im drinking nothing but water..5/6 small meals a day, alot of protien, getting better??
