?? Here it Goes, Here it Goes, Here it Goes Again. Oh, Here it Goes Again. ??

20 pounds, that's so great! And it must be so nice to have all those pants that fit now, it's like going shopping in your own closet. I personally hate shopping for pants, so just finding some that fit without leaving your home sounds pretty amazing, haha. I think it's great to have that dance uniform as a goal, a nice easy way to track your progress, aside from the scale (because I know we all have a love-hate relationship with the scale!)

And yes, don't worry, my splurging story was hypothetical. :p

Don't worry I ask random questions lots of times too! Yes, it's lyrics from the song Here It Goes Again by Ok Go. I chose it as my title because it was in my head at the time and it kind of describes weightloss for me because I never seem to keep it off and have to do it all again! But this is definitely gonna be the last time for me.

Ahh okay i was thinking of a completely different song but cool, i love and adore music as inspiration.

Hi guys. It's been a few days since I've been here. I am now down to 172.6, but that will probably not last for long because my eating will not be good during the next few days.

Today I went to my friend's baby shower. I had a very nice time, and enjoyed catching up with people. I had a couple of finger sandwiches, three of deviled eggs, one chip with crab dip, one fried chicken wing, a couple of glasses of punch, a piece of cake, and a cupcake. But, that is all I had all day besides two oats & chocolate fiber one bars (which are only 2 points a piece). And I had dance practice this morning. So hopefully I didn't do too badly.

Tuesday's my 25th birthday, and I'm spending Monday and Tuesday with my husband. On Monday we are going to eat at one of my fav restaurants that I have been to maybe once since I have started losing weight in June. Then we are probably gonna go see a movie. The rest of the day we are just gonna play be ear. Tuesday we are going to the French Quarter in New Orleans and just gonna check out the shops and the French Market. We might play tourist and go on a tour or something. I love going to the quarter, but I haven't been in so long because I hate going when it's miserably hot. Now that the weather is finally cooling down a little, I'm looking forward to going. It's gonna be really hard to not get beignets. Maybe I will just have one. We'll see. (Oh, by the way beignets (pronounced ben-yays) for those who don't know are square doughnuts covered in powdered sugar. They are a New Orleans thing. They are so light and fluffy and delicious!) Then my parents are probably taking us out to eat and then cake and ice cream at their house. I'm going to try and not take any cake home, or else my weightloss will really be screwed. Then we are going to my husband's aunt's house for Halloween. She throws a party every year. I will probably eat bad stuff there too! We are going as Carmen Sandiego and Where's Waldo.

So I broke out the measuring tape yesterday. I haven't offically taken my measurements in almost exactly two months, so I was looking forward to seeing some more inches gone. But I am almost exactly the same!! I lost a teeny bit around my belly button area, a little on my hips and thighs. But nothing really significant. I don't understand how this can be because there are definitely clothes that were too tight on me two months ago that I can fit in now. So now I am freaking out about not exercising. I feel like if I had exercised consistently during the past two months I would have lost the inches. I need to start again!! Maybe I will spend some time with the elliptical and weights tomorrow before the Saints game.

Happy Birthday!!! Your doing so great with 20 pounds gone so far! Time to kick it up a notch and continue to see the scale go down! Hope you have a great year ahead! birthday calories don't count but tomorrow's do!!

Ack, I almost missed it.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you enjoyed being touristy for the day! I like Lisa's thoughts on birthday calories, haha.

Hi - I'm somewhat new here (I joined in Jan 2007, lost weight, and regained plus had a baby). Saw your post, and it looks like we have similiar start weights and goals.

20lbs - that's fantastic! Keep up the great work!

I'm watching Biggest Loser right now, and Mark came up for his weigh-in. And I looked at the screen and said "Who the heck is this guy?" I'm six weeks in and did NOT remember that he even existed. I guess he just kind of hangs out in the background? I thought it was weird that I didn't have any idea who he was.
