Here I go...again.

Well here I go again..doing diet and exercise. I really want to keep at this so far I like what I have managed to lose. I started off the year at 180 lbs and so not motivated. Didn't help that my ex was very unsuppotive and made me feel stupid cause he thought I wasnt doing it right. So I pretty much stopped caring what I looked like. But since I became single I have gotten down to 165 lbs(woohoo) I haven't seen those numbers since I had my oldest son. My ult. goal is 140 lbs which puts me back to my pre children weight.
So far I think most of the weight has come off due to walking 15k five days a week sometimes more( as I don't drive). And from not eating as much junk foods and sticking to my fruits and veggies. I have recently been given some work out dvds and I have been trying them out so far my fav. it turbo jam although it needs way better music! I also got a kickboxing/dance game for my wii, which I find fun (even though I can't dance to save my life!).
I am trying to eat about 1800 calories, And work out 3 to 4 times a week for an hour. I have cut down the junk food. I used to buy it all the time instead I now replace it with fruit or veggies. I know I will still eat chips or pizza but just not as often and I used to......
 
Well so far this week is going very good. Yesterday I walked 15k and did 40 min of kick b..oxing mixed with dance. I didn't really eat which I know isn't good but it has been hot and very humid( since it has been raining damn near everyday......ggggrrrr). Today was better temp wise and I even ate lol...more then I probably should have but I was making up for not eating yesterday.. Today I did my walk..won't get to kick box as my youngest isn't having a good night and will not go to bed. That's ok I will get a work out tomorrow... I hope..lol
 
15k a day. WOW that's a hike. Bet you do get a pretty good workout with that, and along with the videos.

Sounds like your off to a good start.

On a personal note. Don't ever let anybody talk you down. If you are seeing results with what you are doing then keep it up. What works for you doesn't always work for someone else. Sounds like your better off now anyways.
