Hey old friend! I know you're never on here anymore, I havent been on here in over a year, almost two years... but I'm planning on getting back into everything.

I always meant to ask you, when you first started out, what was your calorie intake? You posted from 154 pounds, and then dropped to 143 or so during your first few posts.. but never knew how many cals you were consuming.

Also, how many calories are you consuming now that all this time has past and you are such a tiny thing? Send me a PM if you dont want to post... I will keep an eye out for you!

Hey there! Its been quite awhile!!!!!

I honestly did not count calories back when i first started losing weight... i just cut all the junk food and stopped eating large amounts of food.... kept my portions small and made sure i hit the gym. I didnt know much about calories in vs out back then.

to be honest i think because i didnt know that it was easier for me to lose the weight because i didnt know enough to think wow... i am in a huge deficit i can eat another 300 calories right now sort of thing...... if that makes sense.

i run alot now... im training for my next marathon in april so I honestly eat alot of calories right now because I am running miles and miles a a day..... when I am not running though I keep the calories between 1500-1800

That's also good to hear that you are training for another marathon!! I'm going to do another one in early October! :)

How's life treating you!? ...are you and the bf married yet!? :D!!!

Nice to see you still stopping by and posting! You were the one that inspired me to start a journal and I haven't stopped since so thank you very much!! If you go back to my very first entry I think it quotes your journal and how it got me on my journey.
Then Atla made me realize that you can't fail if you never give up so that has kept me going all this time!
Glad to hear things are still going so amazing for you in your journey and how your still pushing and accomplishing new fitness goals. Keep it up Melissa and only good things will come of it!!

Hey Melissa! just wanted to pop in and see how your marathon went? :hurray: You're such a rockstar, every time I get slightly lazy I always reference your journal and get so encouraged by our similar starting stats.
