Here comes the bride...6 months to go!!

Lisa you are sooo gorgeous! You look prettier in every picture you post. I'm so impressed that you can manage to get up and go to the gym and really work hard after nights like that. It sounds like you had a really fun weekend with your hunnie and your friends, good job and skipping out on the butter tarts. Its Monday again and I look forward to really rocking this week with you, I feel like you really helped to get me out of my funk and we need to kick some butt all week and all month long. I hope you do get a lot of water and green tea in today to help your bloated and maybe try avoiding salt today. Have a good Monday!

Hey Lisa.....Great job on attending Kettle Bell Class on Saturday, most people would have just said the hell with this and gona back to bed...me included lol! You look great in those pictures wow!!! Glad you had a great fun weekend and are now back to the grind!!!

Sounds like a fun weekend! Way to go getting to kettle bell class after that night of drinking! Love the pics, you look great :) And that is sooo nice about the girl complimenting you on how good you look and calling you "the runner" lol so cool!! I thought of you yesterday during my run and wish you could have ran with me - I think you would be the perfect running partner!! I am so excited for you to do a half marathon now! It's a GREAT feeling crossing that finish line and realizing just how far you've come!

Lisa, your weekends are always so much fun. I wish I could hang out with you one of these weekends. :) And what can I say about your motivation? You are amazing. To go to Kettle bell class after a night of drinking and dancing. Really inspiring.

Butter tarts instead of wedding cake is a great idea. Go for it!! :)

I agree with Janvier, you look more sexy and more confident with each pic you post. You are beautiful, Lis. Hope your Monday is going well!!

Looking good girlie. Been a while since I could catch up on your diary, but it is no surprise to see you doing so well. Dang all of you with your great exercise sessions. I feel like a lazy loaf now lol. Wedding plans sound like they are coming along well and I think that removing the train was probably best for the dress, especially with a wedding outside. Great new pics by the way. Your almost there!

Thanks Janvier - It must be because I have more confidence that I'm looking prettier - that is so sweet of you to say btw! I was really determined to go to Kettle Bell as well as do the treadmill this morning and when I set my mind to something there is no stopping me!! Thanks for your support over and over and always posting such sweet things! I will for sure watch the salt today! Thanks again!!

thanks so much Veronique and you are right it's back to the grind! I'm so excited about it too - this rarely happens on Mondays so I know it's going to be a good week!
I thought of you yesterday during my run and wish you could have ran with me - I think you would be the perfect running partner!! I am so excited for you to do a half marathon now! It's a GREAT feeling crossing that finish line and realizing just how far you've come!
Thanks Sarah - you have totally motivated me and I'm feeling much better about doing it! You have come so far and I'm so proud and glad I could be right here to witness it all. I would love to run with you too!! I was also thinking about you yesterday and cheering you on in my head while lying in bed, lol!!

Thanks so much Juni! I didn't even realize it until you said I look like I have more confidence that you are totally right! I do have more confidence and I'm loving it! I would love to hang out with you too - wouldn't that be so fun to get all our WLF friends together for a night of partying! I really live for the weekends and try to make the best of them - my job is so boring and I don't see my hunnie during the week because he is involved in so many things outside of work so I really like to let loose on the weekends - I'm glad you think they are fun too!

Ok I just have to post because I am so excited - I signed up for a half marathon today!! Thanks to Sarah for completing her first one - I know I can do it too!! I'm such a follower, lol! It's September 19th so I will have a solid month after the wedding to really focus on training. Here is what my schedule is going to look like right now:
Monday - Kettle bell 4:30pm-5:30pm
Tuesdays - golf (walking 9 holes)
Wednesdays - long run days (start with 10km and work up 1 km each week)
Thursdays - Kettle bell 7:30pm-8:30pm
Fridays - shorter run 5km - work on speed.
Saturday - Kettle bell 10am - 11am
Sunday - rest
I'm also going to keep up the treadmill before work each morning - or at least 3 morning for at least 25 min and 2 miles.
Once I get my Px90 dvd's this will change but that's not until June 18th. I don't think I will be able to do the full Px90 plan and continue running and going to Kettle bell so I will have to decide what I enjoy the most.
I never feel this good Monday's!! I'm so excited I did the treadmill this morning because I know I wouldn't be feeling this way otherwise!!

One more thing I wanted to comment on from the weekend. When I was out with hunnie at the shag there were a lot of girls there I was trying to compare myself to because I still have a skewed body image and wanted to get my hunnie's views on things. There were a lot of girls that were too thin and didn't look like they had any muscle on their body - just not healthy looking in my eyes and hunnie agreed. It really made me feel better about myself and realize I really don't need to be any smaller - I just want to be more toned the size I am which I think is size 8 in pants and maybe size 6 in tops or sm-med because I have no boobs. I'm still working on getting down to 140 and maybe 135 but that will be it! I have never felt so close to my goal and it's a great feeling. I know I will never be happy with myself naked but I think toning will help. I never want to be someone who people whisper about being too skinny or looking unhealthy - it's just not sexy.

Wow! Busy Lady!!! I want to try the p90X too I have it at home it's just sitting collecting dust, I just need to get my hands on a dvd player for the living room and find some courage and get started. Mabe I will wait till you start and we can push each other!

Hi Lisa! Just wanted to say I think you look beautiful. I especially like your hair and your smile. Keep up the hard work! You are getting so close to your goal!

Glad to hear you had a great weekend!!! Looks like a lot of fun- I know I've said it before but you're looking amazing. I'm so using you as my motivation to get back on track!! Well- you and Sunflower this week... you guys are inspirational!

Hooray, you are doing so awesome!!
You look absolutely fantastic!

Ooh, starting P90X? I love those DVDs so much! The Plyometrics is my favorite...it's seriously one of the best cardio workouts I've ever done, and I'm in pretty good shape!

Your workout schedule sounds so great, fun and varied. And I absolutely love your view on your body image. You are most certainly on the right track!! <3

That's funny because we broke two dvd players last week too - one in the workout room and one in our bedroom so we need to buy a new one too. They just all seem so cheaply made and I dont want to spend a lot of money on one but I want it to last longer than a year! I would love to start with you and cheer you on!!
Hello. I stopped by to bring you some popcorn:
:lurk5:
:driving: bye bye!
Thanks Ash - it was delicious! How are you making out?

Thanks Derrick - I'm flattered. I've been growing my hair out for the wedding but lately I just want to chop it all off and have a cute hairdo - my hunnie would be heart broken because he really loves it long too!

Ok this would have been an awesome day if I would have just ended it there and gone to bed but my emotions changed that.
OK time to vent:
So last year I decided I really wanted to play baseball in the summer because I used to play a long time ago and really enjoyed it. There is a women's league and men's league that I know about and asked a girl who I knew played if I could play on her team this year. She was saying yes no problem everytime I ran into her and then as soon as I heard practice was starting she told me her team is full. Another girl on a different team seen my message on facebook and told me she thought her team needed girls. I still haven't heard anything back and I've messaged her a few times leading up to this. Well yesterday when I was at work my hunnie called me to say he has a baseball practice and won't be home for dinner - he didn't even want to play and someone called him the other day and said they needed another guy. So now he is playing on the men's league and I don't have a team to play with. So he has baseball practice Mondays, baseball games Tuesdays, hockey wednesdays and now since baseball is Tuesday he has moved jam night to Thursdays and golf Sundays. So if I'm lucky we might get to have dinner together Fridays and Saturdays. This just really bummed me out. I was feeling sorry for myself for not being as busy as him. I really really really wanted to play baseball this year. My mood has carried over to today and I'm just in a bummed mood. I need to find something to keep me busy all summer too so I'm not feeling so lonely every night.
Snacks - 1 more piece rhubard cake (4), mini ice cream sandwich (2)
So 6 extra points of crap right before bed - total let down.
So today is a new day and I'm not letting my mood affect my eating today.
I made it up this morning and did 30 min on the treadmill again! Ya two mornings in a row! I'm going for a perfect day today even if my mood isn't so perfect.

Hey, Lisa. I said the same thing this morning about having a perfect day. I really need to have more control over my weekends. I lost nothing during May. Anyway, sorry to hear that you didn't find a team to play with. Baseball would be a really good workout. Maybe the girl on fb hasn't checked her account in a while, and will get back to you. I know I go huge periods of time before I think about fb, maybe that's why my friends coundt is low, Lol. They should have girl and guys teams, that way you and your hunnie could play together. Hope you have a better day, and check on ya later.

Sorry to hear about the baseball thing. That girl you talked to sounds like a flake to me. It's too bad you'll miss this summer, but maybe you can find a team next year.

That's exciting about the half marathon though! I'm in awe of you. Keep us posted on your training for that.

And you are right about the too skinny, sickly looking girls who are running all over the place. I don't want to be one of those either. I see girls who look like they are about to keel over and I just want to take them out to eat something.

YOU SIGNED UP! YAY!!! :) I'm so excited for you! Your workout schedule looks great. I should make myself one. That way I don't have to try to think of what to do or just skip the workout overall. Nice job getting the treadmill in before work again :) That is sooo lame about the baseball thing! I used to play softball so I would love to be on a team too. But you shouldn't feel sorry for yourself... just find something else to join! There are other ways to stay busy :) That is too bad that your man won't be around every night for dinner. It's only temporary though! Have a great day!

Hey Lisa

I know what you mean about being lonely during the evenings my hubby works the night shift every two weeks so I see him for about a second 4 days out of 5 during that week and the kids are in bed by 7 and then it's just me, I lots of housework to do but I miss having people around. I usually clean the house as a way of keeping busy so I stay away from food I can't just sit and watch tv especially summer since nothing is on. Does the baseball league have anyone in charge? Cause you could contact them and see if you can still join! Good job with the food (apart from those extra 6pts) Those kettle Bell clases sound like so much fun!

Hi Lisa,

I am So excited that you signed up for your half-marathon! Thats huge! You must be so pumped about it.

Don't worry, yesterday was only Monday and you have the rest of the week to work off those 6 points, you probably already did on the tredmill this morning. I agree with Verobc, try finding out it the team has a person in charge that you can contact directly, even for the team that the girl said was full, you never know if she was lying or not. Maybe even google some leagues in your area, maybe even for different sports or running teams? Are there any other classes at your gym that you would want to take? I have been thinking about joining a hot yoga class, I did it once and really liked it. I also too a strip-arobics class and it was sooo fun and actually really hard and hard core, I took it in the states with my cousin last summer so I'm looking for one in my area. Don't worry, you'll find something.

Great job on getting up to workout 2 mornings in a row, you seem to be on a roll so keep it going! I hope you cheer up and I hope your mood turns around. We're all here for you! *hugs*

Lisa, you signed up!! I have been looking for good races too but haven't found one that I like. I think I want to do 10k this fall. I am going to be really busy with grad school, but over a weekend or during fall break would be nice. Now that you have signed up, it motivates me to get serious about my search. Will sign up before I leave for my travels.

We need to find you something to do during the evenings. The weather is so nice, is there a swimming pool nearby, or a lake that you can for for an hour or so on days your hunnie is busy? I know you are gonna rock the swimsuit. Unless you don't like swimming.....

Hey Lisa,

Just dropping in to see how your weekend was! Thats too bad about the baseball thing. Is it too late to sign up for any other team? How about another summer sport? Kickball is always a lot of fun for me :p

As for the 6 points before bed - chalk it up to a weak moment. Its done with now, no use in feeling guilt or remorse over it. I know you get that though, because the important thing is that you realized you had a emotional eating moment, but you got back up on the horse.

Also - the new pictures you posted look excellent! The progress is SO noticeable. Be super proud of how far you have come!
