Help...

Hey!
So, my goal rightnow is to lose about 15-20 lbs. I had been doing really well, I excerised daily, and I even had a reduced calorie diet. But, lately, I have noticed that instead of losing weight, I have been gaining. This is really starting to frustrate me.

Is there any thing that you all would suggest?

What I usually do for a workout is:
Walk/jog 1-2 miles a day (sometimes 3-4)
15 push-ups
5-10 mins of ab work
Yoga and Pilates

Thanks to all!

I'm not really a professional or anything but, my guess would be that while I'm sure you are losing weight, you might be gaining back the weight you lose with new muscle?

Ooo, you know, you might be on to something....but another thing is, like all girls have, I have a problem area of my midsection (sorry if that doesn't sound right...), but how do I lose that flab/fat? More Ab work? Less carbs?

You can't "spot reduce" or lose weight where you want to. The best way to lose weight is to do cardio and burn more calories than you take in. The weight you lose won't come off from where you want it to right away and may take a while. In my case all I really wanted was to lose a few lbs of my stomach to get abs showing and I've been working out 4 hours a day 3 days a week for 3 months while kind of watching what I eat. I am just now starting to see results so if you do start something, make sure you stick with it.

Get a tape measure and measure your arms, stomach, hips, and thighs. Write that number down and then remeasure in a month or so.

Speak to a nutritionist or dr, but your diet should reflect the Food Pyramid - mostly veggies, fruits and grains, with less proteins and fats.
