Help with "jiggly stomach"

Hey everyone

I'm kind of at a stuck point with my weight atm ive lost alot of weight so that i look skinny on the outside but still i have stomach fat:confused: and i have no clue what to do, i was going to start gym to start building my muscles up.But am i going in the wrong direction?...I no how it is imporant to calculate the intake of the food you eat but its really hard for me.The indian food my mum cooks has soo many ingredints in there that it would be so hard to work out how many carlrioes are in there etc.What im asking is help with me trying to get a 6 pec or atleast lose my "jiggly stomach". What would be the first step.

You, my friend, are a victim to what I was - the "skinny fat" syndrome lol. What you wanna do is do a nice bulk to fill out, then a solid cut to reduce that body fat.

For your bulk, eat CLEAN---eat 500 over your daily maintenace...and no dirty bulking, as you'll only pile on fat. Feast on complex, low-GI carbs (brown rice, yams, sweet potatoes, oats, apples, etc.), and keep protein high. Lift heavy in the gym, and keep cardio to 2 times per week to prevent burning calories you're going to need for muscle-building.

Thanks gags1892 I heard of the " Skinny fat" syndrome..Im not sure how many calories i eat atm should i take note of what i eat for the whole day?..Also what is cardio, running? stuff like that?.

How much weight lifting would i need to do and for how longm and the same with the cardio how long would i need to do it for.

Sorry Danny if i didnt make it clear:eek: i ment has in the time would i need to do weights for e.g 1 hour an cardio for half an hour.

Also is there any links (websites etc) that have a list of complex, low-GI carbs?

I'm not sure how you went about losig weight even though you dropped weight, you may still be ' jiggly' because you lost some muscle along with the fat.

For starters, many days a week can you dedicate to exercise - 3X, 4X, 5X ? ?

And of those days, how long can you dedicate to each exercise session - 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes ?
 
I finsh college at 2 o'clock (thats everyday) so i have from 3'oclock till 7 for the gym.I really dont mind how much i do let it be 20 minutes or an hour for trainning.

Also i have problems with eatin every 1 hour or 2 hours has im a chef i work from 9:00 till 2 o'clock with only a half an hour break, the teacher is really strict about eating in class"hygiene" reasons, so im not sure what to do there.
