Help with a workout routine

im looking for help with getting a basic and simple starter routine down for myself, i was suggested to follow info on another site but i was confised by some of its content, can any1 help me get started with something basic and over time im sure ill learn more on my own... does any1 know some good magizenes i can pick up is mens health a good 1 ? or na ? thanks in advance

I'm not gonna lie to ya, brother. I subscribe to Men's Health and I've stopped reading it seriously. Sometimes it may have a good recipe or underwater watch, but for workouts it sucks.

If you're gonna lay out money for mags, drop it on The New Rules of Lifting by Lou Schuler and Alwyn Cosgrove. I know. People say that all the time on here. But guess what. That's because it's a good book for beginners and those with more lifting experience.

You'll understand it, you'll enjoy it, you'll get great routines from it and it'll pay for itself 10 times over.
