Help, question about steriods!!!

I had my second chemo treatment yesterday. I went in for a follow up today and needless to say was not pleased when they weighed me. I have gained 5 lbs in a month. I was not aware until the doctor told me that I am getting steriods in with my two chemo drugs every two weeks.

Help.....is there anything I can do to keep from weighing a ton after this is over? I am a 5 foot 2 inch female and don't need all this extra weight.

I have been going to the gym 3 days a week and do cardio and weight training for my legs. On my days off from the gym I walk 2.5 miles. I do not work out on Chemo treatment days.

Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated.

Thanks

5 LBS of what? cause it might not be all muscle I can tell you right now. and what kind of steroids are they giving out, cause they come in all different types, post the actual name. if it is test steroids, which seems obvious to you. then the only way would be to reduce your calorie intake and stop working out. you gave alot of information but it's not the right info. tell us actually what your taking, what kind of workout ( a general outline) , even body type/weight will help figure out what I can do for you.

Thanks, i'll have to get back to you

Thank you very much for replying. I do not know the name of the steriod. The office is closed for New Years. I will get back to you with the name soon.
