Help plz, im rapidly gaining weight

hi,

I was in India for 3months and i decided to loose weight. I hired a personal trainer and went on a strict diet skipping meals and lost 18lbs in 2months. Now im back in UK and can exercise daily. Also due to Uni i cant cook and am eating frozen pizza's and fast food. As a result i gained nearly half of what i lost in just 20dayz. I am really de-motivated. I cant afford to have a personal trainer here as im a student. Also i asked a trainer here and he said that skipping meals is not a solution.
So can any1 reccomend any diet plan or exercise plan so i can try to get back to the game.

Height: 168cms
Weight: 171lbs

my target is to get to atleast 154lbs by end of Jan

What do you do for exercise? Are you lifting weights or doing cardio, or both?

Basically, the more muscle you have on your body, the faster your metabolic rate will be and the easier it will be to lose fat.

You do not want to lose muscle. Starving yourself will force your body to cannibalize itself.

I am pure veg
Current diet- twice a day

ard 2pm
1 frozen 10" pizza or 1 Cafe Mocha w/ cheese sandwich or pasta


ard 11pm
1 apple juice from concentrate, potato w/ tortilla wrap or sweetcorn w/ tortilla wrap

basically i get up around 10am and sleep at 2am, student life you know
currently not drinking and not smoking

my current exercise habbit 6times a week
4dayz cardio
2dayz light weights

cardio
30mins jog on treadmill at 8.5
15mins cross trainer
15 stepper
30mins swimming

weights
basically 1 day upper light
1day lower light
30mins swimming each day

the problem is i cant be regular, this is the habbit which i used to follow ard 20dayz ago but due to assignments i havent been to gym since 10dayz. On wednesday im gonna start again and want to plan properly. This current routine may look good but not helping me. I also need to change my eating habbits but i m not sure how.

So it looks to me like you are eating ZERO protein. That's a horrible diet. You should be eating 4-6 small meals a day.

I think what has happened to you is that your body has gone into starvation mode and your metabolic rate is really low. That's not healthy.

You need to revamp your diet ASAP. Even if you are vegan, there is plenty of plant protein you can add to your diet. Otherwise you will be cannibalizing your body by pulling the amino acids you so desperately need from your muscle tissue.

so you got any specific suggestions or any websites that may help, cauz im really confused.

Also will eating yogurt help or will it lead to increase in fats?

Somebody posted a really good link to a vegan/vegetarian site a couple of weeks ago for another vegetarian on the board. You can either search for it, or perhaps rename your thread with "Vegetarian Diet Advice Please" ... something like that.
