help pleaseee haha

can any 1 please suggest a good workout using only my body and 2 8kg dumbbells (i have no bench) and what sort of diet should i be on to tone up? at the moment i want to get a six pack so need to lose the last few layers of fat.

please help =) lol thanks in advance

to tone up you should be eating 5 small healthy meals a day 2 1/2, 3 1/2 hours apart. also drink plenty of water.

as for your workout, 3 sessions of resistance training with your dumbbells followed by interville cardio training, for about 10-12 mins will help you to tone up.

if you have a gym ball then doing dumbbell press on the ball is fine, you'll be working your abs as well as your arms and chest, as the abs keep your body stable.

other good exercises are dumbbell squat press, standing dumbbell press etc
also press ups and A-frame press up are good for the chest, arms, abs and shoulders.

hope this helps a little.

it does help, thank u very much =) ill start figuring out a good workout and diet plan thnk u =)....also how much carbs should i be eating in my meals?

Here's a wonderful exercise to bust up your arms, back, chest and core. Alas, I forget the name of the exercise, so hopefully someone else here will recognise the description and be able to label it.

Set up your two dumbells on the ground, about shoulder-width apart. Get in a push up position with your hands around the dumbells, and lower yourself down to the bottom position of a push up. Push yourself back up, and when you get to the top, row one arm at a time up to your side and then back down again, keeping the grounded arm straight and the chest horizontal (lift the dumbell with your shoulder and arm, don't rotate your torso to lift the weight). Once you have completed a push up and a row on each side, that's your first rep.

thank you very much goldfish =)

this sounds like it would be a great exersise, ill definatly add it into my work out...do u think that its a good substitute for bench press? when ever i do a bench press i can never feel the burn in my chest just in my arms, i do them on the ground idk if it is that, or that its only 8kg or my form but i dont do them. i do flys but not so often because i was doing 3 sets of 15 and my right wrist was always getting sore any1 have ideas on what might cause that and how to prevent it?

thank you again goldfish =)

Considering that the sum total weight that you'd be moving with a chest press is 16kg, compared to moving your bodyweight, I think this would be a good alternative. I wouldn't worry about where you feel the burn. That's a product of lactic acid accumulation, which is not a sign of muscular stimulation. There's only been a few resistance exercises that I've done in my entire life that made me feel any sort of burn. However, the closer your grip is, the more I would expect it to work your triceps than your pecs, if that's any help.

The pain in your wrist could be (and I'd assume is most likely) tension on the wrist flexor tendons.

thats a lot of help, thank you so much for all your advice =)
