*** HELP PLEASE - question regarding situps / abs ***

Hi there, I'm planning to work out on my abs at least ONCE a day. I have a schedule set up.

reps:
20 20 15 15 15 10 10 10

lower abs
10 8 8 8 8 8

my question is, is it alright to work on my abs everyday? or should I allow for rest time? THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE

No, do not work your abs daily. Your abs are a muscle group like any other, they need time to "heal". IMO, 2 days a week of ab work is plenty. You also need to remember that you are "using" your abs as a stabilzer, when performing most of your compound lifts. Hence, they get more work then some folks realize.

should you work obliquies and abdominals the same day, or is it best to do abdominalson day then obliques the next?

but I have heard stories of people working them everyday.

Its because your abs are made up mostly of Type I muscle fibers which are quicker to recover from exercise. That is why many people say "I love abs, you can beat them up one day and they will be ready the next."
