Help on Training Routine

Hi, im a 15 year old, recently started attending a gym....i go on rugby tour next april with my school under 17 team, my preferred sport though is football, which i play a lot of outside school for club teams, i am also quite a good runner...specialising in 800m....im 9st9, the reason im telling you all this is i was wondering if there is any1 out there who would mind helping me, by drawing me up a simple routine to go through and that i can progress on after a while to get me prepared and in my best shape for this rugby tour.....also if anyone is willing to help, im hoping to burn some fat round my stomach while bringing my abs through so please include something to improve that area, thanks for your time, any help appreciated, stephen.

If your looking for funtional strength start doing squats, barbell rows, and bechpressing. Hammer away at those for awhile.

How many days a week do you have available to lift? Have you lifted before? What's your position in football? Is there anyone available on your team that can show you any of the olympic lifts?

ya, olympic lifts are the best for functional strength, but you have to have someone show you them or you risk injury.

Find someone to show you cleans, snatches, and high-pulls, etc.
They'll really give you some explosivness.

But if you cant find anyone to show you, do some good old squatting, rowing, benching, and deadlifting.

All compound lifts that are taxing on the body will create a good training stimulus.
