Help needed!

I am 5'1 125lbs 22yrs old. I have rather muscular legs from gymnastics in high school but I have always had a problem with my inner thighs. My legs have lost some of their muscle and have become a little flabby. My problem areas are first my inner thighs and I would also like to tone my stomach and loose some inches off of my hips. Right now I am doing winsor pilates and jogging outside although it hurts my knees. I dont have a gym membership presently and need some advice as to what I should be doing weight lifting and cardio wise. Also I am taking Lipodrene as a dietary supplement. Please help

Just my opinion.... no supplements. They are going to hurt more than help.

Stop jogging if it hurts your knees.

Start eating extrememly well and participate in a regular strength training and cardio program. Pilates is not going to do a darn thing for the fat around your middle area. Pilates is about strengthening muscles.

To lose fat from a specific area, you must reduce overall body fat. You cannot spot reduce (i.e- I wanna lose fat around my stomach so I'll do crunches). That won't work. It will just work your muscles.

Here's 5 tips to lose fat:

1) Eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day. Each meal should be 2-3 hours apart. Each meal should contain one protein and one carb. The first meal should be eaten within an hour after waking.

2) Drink lots of water :)

3) Rest properly. This means taking at least 24-48 hours between strength training the same muscles, and it also means getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Lastly, it means taking 1-2 days off from exercising per week.

4) Cardio. This should be done at different intensity levels and different session lengths. Consider doing a low intensity/long session, a high intensity/short session and a few medium intensity/medium length sessions.

5) Strength Training. Strength train each muscle 1-3 times per week. You should lift a proper weight and perform the proper amount of sets/reps for your strength training method.

All of the above things combined will result in fat loss. Good luck :)

Thanks for you help!
My one huge problem is I go out usually twice a week, how much does it hurt my work out if I am drinking twice a week? Can I eat super healthy and workout hard so I am still able to enjoy going out?

Depends on what you drink. Most people recommend sticking to a light beer or wine as compared to sugary, fruity drinks. There is a thread somewhere on this board about drinking and fat loss.
