Help me

Ok so I have no idea what supplements do what and which work well etc. so if someone cups please link me to an article saying what's what it if you could just write up the basics. Thanks in advance :)
 
Protein is more or less the only supplement that anyone needs, if they need it at all. You should be able to do without all the extra stuff that supplement salesmen try to push on you.

Creatine is a compound used in your muscles involved in energy production. Taking a creatine supplement will increase the rate at which energy particles are turned over and reused, thus, it can help you to train harder. (It also increases your water retention, thus, there is some weight gain.) The only thing with creatine, though, is that you need to be taking it on a certain scheduled basis which corresponds with your long-term training routine, so there's no use taking it unless you have a committed plan.

I personally like RIVAL-US PROMASIL protein. It contains 7 different proteins from slow acting to fast acting, but contains no Soy so your estrogen will not go up. It tastes good to. Taste is important if you are going to take it for years on end. Good Lick
 
Just straight whey is fine and what I'd recommend to almost everyone. No need to complicate things and get the "fancier" formulas which may or may not do anything for you at all.
