help me with my db shoulder press

I'm using the same weight in each hand. I can do eight reps with my right arm, and only 3 or 4 with my left. I've tried to build up the reps each time I work out, but that does not work. What could help even things out?

Time, practice, rest... It will probably never completely even out, I can always do one or 2 more reps with one arm than the other on most exercises. 4 or 5 reps seem like a lot, unless you have or had some injury on that arm/shoulder.

Add an extra set or two for just your left arm.

Honestly, I think these unilateral differences are a byproduct of how we use our bodies when we aren't in the gym. Make a conscious effort to use your left arm more, whether it's carrying groceries or openning doors.

agreed timmy. its a reason why my right hand is stronger than my left.

I think what Timmy really is saying, he is just hiding it a bit, is this:
Wack off with your left hand too.
