I had major spinal surgery at a young age and therefore am I bit more delicate than some. My physical therapist informed me, it would help my lingering limp/backpain if I were to build ab strength (to take pressure off my back) and strengthen my thighs. (and also, who doesn't want a flat stomach) I need suggestions on how to do this without killing myself (I'm currently burning myself out in the work out area and seeing no results)
I don't like the word "diet" as I'm not trying to lose weight in the number sense, just tone. But any tips on eating habits would also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!
