Help! I am out of shape!

I am overweight and out of shape, and 50 years old. When I exercise I get muscle cramps...in my arms, my legs, my feet, my abdomen. This has happened all my life, even as a child. As a result, the only exercise I really do is walk, and I probably don't do that enough.

Does anyone have suggestions? I drink a lot of orange juice thinking the potassium will help with the cramps. It doesn't. I am sick of being overweight and out of shape.

Any suggestions would be welcome.e
