Help for a newbie on supplements

Hello everyone, I am relatively new to the forum but not to weight training and weight loss/gain/loss/gain, well u get my point

I am 33 years old, 5'11, right now sitting at the heaviest I have ever been which is 325.. my goal weight right now is 275

I have been working out 4 days a week now for about 2 months with a 45 minute workout routine as well as a 30 minute cardo in the morning and a 30 minute cardo before my workout.

My question is this. I am looking to get going on some supplements for fat blocking as well as protein and just overall health.

Last time I really did a big weight loss was about 8 years ago when I was graduating college. I dropped about 60 pounds by combination of working out, cardio, diet, and HYDROXYCUT...

Now I know hydroxycut is not that great for me so I am looking for alternatives to help me drop some weight

workout/exercise/cardio/diet just doesn't do it for me on its own, I need a little help

any suggestions would be great

thx in advance
kevin

There is no replacement for hard work and a good diet. Pick up soem whey protein for PWO and eat better.

agreed. some whey protein, maybe a multivitamin, and some fish oil caps.

fat 'blockers' just trap some fat and then you end up with oily farts that leak through your pants.
(I'm dead serious, most of these products list a side effect of "loose, oily flatulence")

Hi wranglerspace...
There is no supplement batter than a good workout, healthy meal and a good sleep. Most of the supplements in the market block fats and have serious side effects.

Hi,

the "magic pill" don't exist. sorry for the news.

but, if you are very motivated to lose fat, I have 3 suggestion for you.

- eat less but more frequent ( 6 meal a day is the best)

- eliminate the carbo at dinner

- do a circuit training at gym 3/4 times a week

this is only 3 thing, but if you to this correctly you will see results.

contact me if you need more help

Hi,

You will be getting the same answers: There is no secret pill!

You have to have the drive and the discipline. You don't have to exercise that hard though. You just have to get into a proper diet - more greens and less steak! Having the discipline also gets you to do things in repetition just to make sure that they do work - do these and you'll drop the weight.

You also have to have fun when you’re doing it, otherwise you won’t make it.
