Help creating a workout routine?

Hello everyone. I just signed up. I'm 18, and I haven't ever really worked out before, mostly because I haven't had time, the resources, or the motivation.

However, I will within the next week have all 3, and I'd really like to start working out. Basically, my amin goal is to gain size. I'm 6' tall, but I only weigh 130 lbs (I have a really fast metabolism, always have.) When I have had spurts of motivation to work out during summers and such, I've found that I gain muscle pretty easy, but I want to get a routine going.

First of all, I want to tell you guys what I want to work on most. My upper body (except pecs) are in ok shape (yes, I am going to work them out too, but I want to focus more on other muscle groups for the time being.) However, my pecs are really flat and I feel very self-conscious about them (especially that the middle is so bony), and i also have really skinny legs. I think I might also like to gain a little non-muscular weight, simply because i'm so bony.

So my real question is, what's the best way to do this? What workouts should i do, how often, how many reps and sets, and what should my diet be? Again, I'm looking more for muscle size gain at the moment than strength or endurance.

Also, I'll be on travelling for a couple extended periods of time in the next few months. In case I don't have access to a gym, are there any good exercises for pecs that don't require equipment (other than press ups, of course, but I already do those). If press ups are the best, what should i do to gain more mass, especially in the center of my chest?

SOrry for such a long post, but I'm looking for a lot of information. I'm hoping to get really into this and work really hard on it. Thanks in advance to anyone who has advice. Detail in your advice would be greatly appreciated.

For bodyweight stuff, I really like Scrapper's site

In the gym, work on your main compound stuff-
squat, bench, military press, bent over row, chins/pull ups, deadlift

And eat. a. lot.

By far the most important thing is eating "a. lot" as evo put it

Whatever you're eating, you're gonna have to eat way more. Aside from what evo said in terms of the exercises, those are all excellent. If you wanna make your own routine, look around here

It's gonna be hard to maintain your (hopeful) weight gain in the near future, if you are gonna be traveling. I can only recommend body weight exercises, chair dips, lunges, squats, push-ups, etc.

eat.

thanks for answering, guys.

So i've already started eating a lot and gained a couple pounds, but are there specific food groups i should eat more of, either to help gain weight in a healthier way, or to help muscle growth?

Also, what's the best exercise to hit inner pecs?
