Help! Cardio dislikes me greatly!

I took a food science/nutrition class back in college, and I've used a nutritionist in my local area to get me on the "healthy" track, so I'm really conscious of what I eat - however, I may not be conscious enough. Need to find the balance like you say.

I wish there was a way to spot manage though because I'm about 115/120lbs and am 5'5", which is skinny and I've been that way my whole life (thyroid has been checked). Losing weight really isn't an option.

I hear ya :)

I'm 5'6-7" and around 125lbs. I suggest building muscle. I had to go from healthy diet (i'm talking really clean-healthy) to macro managing my diet. I was not eating enough protein even though my diet was clean, and I was eating too many carbs (my weakness).

"fine tuning" takes more effort.....:)

I try to steer clear of too many carbs, they make me feel bloated and weighted down. I've actually gained a lot of weight through muscle since I started at the gym. I was about 105 when I started (lost all my High School sports muscle in the year after I graduated and was just a stick), and I've put on about 15lbs of muscle. It's nice having the tone and definition again. I'm doing my best to not become "over-toned" as I've come to call it. There are a few girls at my gym w/the same size frame as me that are like that, it's like their muscles have muscles - and it's kind of gross.

As for my diet, I've begun the "tuning" process, hoping it helps some.
