Im looking for some advice with my training regime.
My goal ideally is to get bigger arms, while at the same time tone-up. I don't want to be one of those big guys who have massive muscles, but look a bit big ie a Hulk Hogan!! I'm talking about somewhere inbetween a a Josh Lewsey and a Premiership footballer.
Now here's what my current training routine is like (all done in the evening):
Sunday: Arms & Triceps
Monday : Run/Bike/Sit-up routines
Tuesday Chest Excercises
Wednesday Off
Thursday Circuit training
Friday Arms & Triceps
Saturday Off
Now, I really enjoy excercising and I like my routine but have a few questions that I would like to ask:
1) Would it help achive my goal if I mixed up my routine?
2) Would substituting bodypump or boxing for one of those help?
3) Does my routine seem OK for wanting to achieve my goal
4) With my weight excercises is it better to make them quicker rather than doing a set and taking a breather?
5) I was told that I should start off with large weights and towards the end of my excercises slow down to lower weights. Is that true?
6) Any other suggestions or thoughts on my program or links people can post that would help me achieve my goal?
7) Are days off needed?
