Hello, I have no friends on here, and I have never posted a diary or anything, but I come on here often
Because it keeps me motivated etc.
So, I started off my weight loss journey 3 months ago and have lost a happy 33 pounds, from 226 to a current 193. But, I still have a long way to go. My ultimate goal is to get down to 140, but I have mini target goals in-between to keep my focused and break the massive challenge ahead of me manageable.
But it CAN be done. And it WILL be done
I’ve done it before, in 2003 I was 13 stone and unhappy with my appearance and had a low self esteem. I managed to lose 3 stone in half a year. But I didn’t maintain my weight and three years on gaining more than I ever was. So, yeah, maintaining your weight is just as important as losing it because it comes on with vengeance. It’s not nice looking back on them ‘skinny’ photos and remembering how fantastic I felt and looked.
However, I am “in the zone” as my mum says, and am now down to 193. So that’s 33 pounds down.
Basically I do cardio for about an hour 3 times a week, which included a body combat session at my leisure center on a Monday, spinning on Wednesday, and over an hour at the gym on Sunday. And I have been doing that for these 3 mouths and… IT HASN’T BEEN THAT HARD!!!
So if anyone has read this, and are on a similar journey as I am, and fancy being a weight loss buddy, id love it!
