having trouble- not sure if i am doing the right things

I dont know if this can be answered or if i am going to get the "everyone is different" response but I figured I'd try it out here. I am having trouble getting below a certain weight (138 and i am 5'5'', shooting for about 125-129). I have changed my cardio routine to incorporate plyometrics, different intervals/times on elliptical or running or walking to try to trick my body to lose these last ten-fifteen lbs...

my question is: how long does it take for your body to recognize a change in your program? I read all these posts and it seems so immediate for some and i am not having the same luck. I also recently upped my calories - from about 1200-1300 to now 1500-1600 (thanks to Trainer Lynn)

........How long does it take for our bodies to recognize change? Is this a patience issue???? i really appreicate any help/advice from anyone else who has been in my situation or who just knows the answers!...thanks in advance.

Are you doing weights at all? What's your daily or weekly fitness and nutrition routine look like?

Everyone is different, but from your stats it appears that you'll need to focus in on bumping up the intensity of things. Particularly weights.

yes, i do weights. twice a week @ pilates and twice a week with either dumbbells/exercise band/swiss ball.

fitness routine is like this:
monday: pilates
tuesday: plyometrics
wednesday: 45 min elliptical or running & weights - circuit training @ home
thursday: pilates
friday: off
saturday: plyometrics
sunday: 60 minutes running or walking & circuit weights at home

Nutrition routine:
breakfast: oatmeal/skim milk
snack: yogurt/fruit
lunch: tuna or tofu with salad
snack: protein shake/almonds
dinner: fish or chicken with salad & veggies

Suggestions very welcome! Thank you for your time!! Bump up intensity of what? everything??

Less pilates, more weight training days. Im not sure if you're lifting heavy at this point, but.... wait a minute... PM me! I remember you from before :D PM me and I'll tell you exactly what to do ;) :D :)

Skyler I recently switched to lifting heavier with less reps and in about 2 weeks I have noticed a significant difference. But like Lynn mentioned everyone is different. She is better suited to answer you specifically as she is much more knowledgeable, but just wanted to pass along my personal experience.
