Having a stronger core

I am trying to get a stronger core and i was wondering if you can work it every night or 3 times a week. and arent abs and core the same thing? :confused:
 
just like anything else, dont overtrain. no need to work any muscles everyday. abs are core, but what about the other side? your back is core also.
 
Do your core workout 3 times a week.

Try doing exercises in circuits like:

Planks, Side Planks, Crunches, Side Crunches, Back Extensions, Hanging Leg raises, twisting motion.

Do about 2 circuits of the above. When I starts getting easy (as in your abs are not stiff) then start adding weights. Treat the abs like you would your chest.
