Haven't lifted in 2 months- but set Bench Press PR

I haven't lifted in almost 2 months because of football practice and being lazy, but I set a new bench press PR today at 204 pounds.

Have no clue how this happened- but I'm happy ;) I have done pushups every now and then though- got from 30 to 40.

My previous PR was 198 pounds. This is how I warmed up:

45x5
133x5
155x5
177x3
199x1
204x1

Awesome.

204? ur plates are in Kg i take it? any who...

Congrats! lol I seems weird but rest does the body good. Push-ups are good while ur being "lazy" and football is good(if ur coaches/program is worth 2 sh!ts lol)

I remember about 2 months ago when i separated my shoulder i had a power clean of like 225 or something and like while is was healing something clicked in my head and i...just got how to do them. Like they felt forced before that and now they feel natural and im pulling some good weight. The same happened with bench, tho like 3 years ago, maybe you "got it" LOL

It motivated the hell outta me. Woke up early this morning to eat Eggs- usually I'm rushing to the bus ;)

Once football ends I'm gonna have track for 2 hours each day from Monday-Friday and I will have access to the weight room for 2 hours each day as well.

Weird- the track team lifts but the football team doesnt. lol

I can't wait to get back in full gear.
