Long Weekend Over..

Well my long weekend is definetely over, and now I sit here at 9:00 in advanced nutrition. Tired and cranky that I'm in class. The weekend went by so fast! Saturday night, I went out with a couple friends to the bars, it was one of our friends 22nd birthday. I went even though I wasnt really feeling it, I didnt want to dissapoint by saying no. I had 2 cranberry vodkas, 1/2 long island, and like 1/2 hurricane. (Its all about the sharing when you go out). Everything went well until my friend came back to my boy's apartment and crashed on his futon (Literally crashed) and broke it. Hes about 300lbs and the futon is wood...well my boy got pissed kicked out the friend and then decided to come up to my room to spend the night. Which wasnt so bad but I sleep on an air mattress lol. But yesterday he was able o get it fixed, so yay :)

I havent weighed myself in a while. Probably about 3 weeks since my surgery just cuz i didnt want to focuz on my weight while I tried to get healthy again, because I know my weight was going to fluctuate a ton. But I think its about time again.

Food for today:
1 Banana
1 Fiber Plus Granola Bar
1 diet pepsi max
snack
Bag of frito twists
Lunch
Farfalle w/marinara sauce and parmesean
1/4 cup leftover potatoe salad
Dinner
Cheeseburger
Fries
Diet Coke

So, I have defintely found motivation to lose a little bit of tub. Next semester I have a nutrition asessment class, where you pretty much get down to your skivvies (boys included) in front of the class and get your body asessment done. Which means getting skinfold/fat measured and taken, getting weighed, having your eating asessed, etc... and there's no way in hell Im going to do that as of right now. Embarassing! So Im bettering my attempts to get down to at least 150 by second semester. Which is about 10-12 pounds away. Im not overweight but Id like to be toned and a little skinnier than normal--since I have to represent a proper dietitian :p

Food for today:
Breakfast
1 Fiber plus granola bar
1 banana
Diet Pepsi
Lunch
4 oz grilled chicken marinated in itallian dressing
2 cups romaine w/ 1/2 tomatoe, 1/2 red onion, 1 slice cheddar cheese, & light ranch
1 grilled pita bread
Diet Pepsi
Snack
8 dove chocolates
1/4 cup candy corn
Dinner
1 cup cheerios w/ light soymilk
1 banana
2 eggs (scrambeled w/ onion, light soymilk, 1 slice cheddar cheese, salt & pepper)
16 oz water

Also, my roomate is getting really sick with a flu *hopefully not the S word* so I doubled up on my vitamin C supplements and Zinc today...Yikes!

All in all not so bad, but I could do better...

so I'm assuming your boyfriend is now your ex and the "friend" from school last year is he the new boy toy or is this someone new? Sorry to be noisy but I'm curious how it all ended and all started again too.
Glad you are focusing on being healthy and staying positive! I can't believe a teacher would make you get down to your undies! I would never take that class just knowing that! How embarrasing! The guys will probably love it! Can't wait to hear how that goes!

Hey! Thanks for the post, and Welcome to my journal :)

Well the situation is still slightly confusing, but heres how it is. Right now I am in an open relationship with my boyfriend. So even though Im still dating my boyfriend (the one ive had for 6-1/2 years) Im also casually seeing my "old friend" his name is Andrew. I go to school with Andrew so I see him about 3-4 times a week. But I go home almost every other weekend to see my boyfriend I also talk to my boyfriend every day. Its very confusing, and I know eventually I will have to make a decision. But it made things less sticky at the time, because I have strong feelings for both of them. I dont necessarily agree with polygamy, I want to be in a monogamous relationship but I still have a lot to think over, and both of the guys right now are ok with the situation. I also think its a good way for my boyfriend and I to experience new things since we had been together since 14/15. Im hoping by the end of the semester, if not sooner, I will know who I want to be with.

So thats that.

As for my day. Super Tired. Gunna take a Nap. I weighed myself today, and only put on 2-3 pounds since my surgery. I'll take it. But i still am trying to take off the weight.

Went home this weekend. Food has been pretty bad. I blame it partly on getting my period early. But come Monday Im cracking down on my semester 1 weight loss :)

**so this was a really bad day I was out all day adn then went out to dinner with the boyfriend**

Today (made breakfast for me and the boyfriend)

1 glass apple cider
1 eggie in a basket
3 sausages
3 mini donettes
snack:
2 mini kitkats
water.

*gunna try and eat really well the rest of the day...*

But the nice part was is that im still maintaining my weight from the summer, and when I was getting a little intimate with my boyfriend last night, he told me afterwards that I looked really good and it look like i had lost some weight. So that was deifntely a confidence booster. :Angel_anim:

I just want to let you know that you are such an amazing person. Sure, you've made some mistakes, but who hasn't? You're an astonishingly gorgeous person, inside and out, and I don't think you realize that a lot of the time. You have to remember that we all have struggles, but that doesn't make us weak. On the contrary, it makes us so much stronger to have dealt with and overcome hardships and trials. You are not defined by your weight, you are defined by the beauty you hold within. Keep that in the back of your mind, What's causing you to feel like you need to binge/purge? Is it a feeling of inferiority? A feeling of self-loathing? You have to see that you are so much more than an ED, so much more beautiful than what you perceive in the mirror. Others can see your beauty, they see what a kind, caring person you are and they immediately want to spend time with you and get to know you. You have so much to offer to the world, don't get muddled up in the tribulations of every day life.

You are really, truly amazing. You deserve the world, all you have to do is claim it.

I was super hungry today and Im not sure why, so I was over my calorie count. I would like to increase my protein more and also decrease my sodium. Little mini goals :)

Also the Twins played an amaziingg game tonight versus Michigan and the Vikes played a fab game against Green Bay last night. After the rivetting game I treated myself to a snack cuz I was a little hungry :)

So I was defintely super tired today and did not feel like going to class. My Chinchillas were sooo noisy in the early AM today and drove me absoloutely nuts:toetap05:

So I had to get up and give them some hay around 5am to keep their little chewing mouths busy.

I have my first Biochemistry test today and I also picked up a 3 hour workshift, so its gunna be a long day.

Yikes. I hope everything goes well. I will probably get lunch from our on-campus store today *prays for good desicion skills* I was gunna weigh myself today, but was running late nd thought I wouldnt see much of a difference yet, maybe tommorow.

So I defintely went over my calorie limit by a ton yesterday, but I went on a date to the Cheesecake Factory with my boy from school and it was worth it. It was super fun and then we went to go see Paranormal Activity which was Effing Scary! I reccomend anyone who loves horror movies to go see it because it was so frightening lol. I havent been that scared by a movie in a very, very long time (and Im a horror movie buff). Im assuming my calories are going to be a little high today because I ate leftovers, but at least I know what I eat so I can keep track of this weekend. Oh and the Twins totally lost to the Yankees yesterday during the 11th inning, bummer! I totally thought they were going to be able to pull it through :sigh:

liza4kit,fitness can help you to loss few kilos but i don't think that denying yourself meals can help you reduce your weight or burn some fat.That is starving.there are many ways that will help you burn that fat faster than expected

I hate it when the scales aren't moving much. I seem to go week about. 1 week a big loss and the next nothing or up a bit...

So hopefully you'll have a big one next week.

liza4kit,fitness can help you to loss few kilos but i don't think that denying yourself meals can help you reduce your weight or burn some fat.That is starving.there are many ways that will help you burn that fat faster than expected
