Hangs head in shame....back again***Diary of Kaplooie***

Ha! @ LaMa

Alright alright, I need to stop cheating! Started with that stupid dinner at G-ma's house and last night we ate pizza for dinner. PIZZA. The ultimate trigger food. I ate way too much and then felt like crap. And today I am so bloated from all the carby water weight.

Tomorrow and Sunday are our annual golf tourny. It's going to be one hell of an active day because the course is on the side of a mountain. Everything is uphill till you get to the 6th hole. 9 holes a day X 2 days. And its a drunkfest. No golf carts. We have to carry all our gear and booze ourselves (well...we do have my kiddo for one caddy). The Fourth hole is by the club so we can eat there and don't have to bring food. I am actually, for the first time in like a year, going to wear my bodybugg so I can see how many steps I take. I need to configure it though and in order to do that I have to spring for a months membership again. Dammit. If we take pictures I will try to post some. We have rules against evidence of our debauchery though so we might not allow photos.

:D Just yesterday a friend of mine was complaining (on facebook) how nothing is allowed in golf (she´s just starting out): no running, no swordfighting with clubs, no booze... I´ll tell her she´s on the wrong course!

Have a good time at your golf tournament! All that walking will burn some cals as long as you don't eat/drink them all back!

I made jell-o shots last night and bought a box of wine...pretty sure anything I burn is probably going to be a fire hazard ;)

Alright, I'm dying. Saturday was absolutely nuts and today drug on forever. Nursing a serious hangover because A) Drunk golfing and B) the one year anniversary of our favorite pub, owned by my former boss. We ended up teeing off at 0930 because a time slot came available that let us tee off right after our friends teams. We stayed pretty close through the entire game and by the last hole we were fall down drunk. I have bruises everywhere and what I think is either a really bad sprained right wrist or its broken. We managed to turn golf into a full contact sport, complete with tackling. I also have a hideous sunburn on my face, chest and arms. Because I forgot sunscreen. I lost my favorite wine glass, a ball jar with a sippy cup lid and a candlestick for a stem.

So now on to bigger and better things. I've decided to lay off the drinking until our annual Halloween bash. Give my liver a break and hopefully increase the amount of weight I can lose. I calculated that I probably consumed over 1400 calories in hard liquor, beer and wine on Saturday. I'm trying to hydrate today, and eat some vegetables since none of those were consumed yesterday. I had a deep fried pickle...lol, does that count?? I'm really craving a huge jug of ice water and a bowl of steamed broccoli smothered in cheese. I'm going to have to go to the clinic tomorrow for an x-ray if my wrist swelling doesn't go down. I don't even remember how that happened, I woke up this morning in pain and cannot bend my wrist backwards without severe pain and even then it only goes so far before it just stops and makes a cracking noise with shooting pain all the way up to my elbow. It brought the lame to my game today.

Wowsers KP! You don't do things by half measures!
CRAZY!
Hope your wrist isn't broken!
xoxo Cate.
I'm on Day 6 of no alcohol & not missing it, which surprises me. I'm going to have to get some different teas though.

kaplooie Ice that wrist, to try and get some of the swelling down, if the ice hurts like crazy it is not a good sign, if it is broken they won't be able to do much while it is swollen.

good luck

Not broken, but sprained pretty well. The swelling is going down, I can wrap my fingers around my wrist again. Still painful and the bruises look like I got beat with a stick, lol! The worst part of it is, its the hand I use to sling my handbag over my shoulder and OWWWW! Every time I forget and every time I die.

But! I weighed this morning and since I last weighed I'm down 3.5 lbs! WHOOOOSH! I knew I felt skinnier this morning when I got up. I guess quitting the booze, staying strict low carb and IF-ing has really paid off. I hope I have this good of a week next week too. Right now, aside from my morning coffee I'm doing a 18-5 IF schedule, so I have coffee in the morning but other then that I'm fasting all day, eat a nice keto dinner and then a small snack before I go to bed. The coffee keeps me from crying all day, lol! Drinking lots of water.

I'm off to look up fitbits online...

Good news that your arm is not broken KP! IF, hey? I have heard so much about the results of IF, including a fascinating program on TV, that I think I will ask my doc next week about it(unless I actually lose some weight between now & then- HA!) Congrats on the great loss sweetie, xoxo Cate

Thank you all!! I think that is the most weight I've ever lost between weigh ins. It is very motivating. And I think my body has finally adjusted to IF because its 5pm here and I'm not really all that ravenous as I was Monday and Tuesday night. I can wait for the minion to do the dishes and then cook dinner instead of hollering at him for an hour to do them. Lol! Dinner tonight is a ground beef, sausage and cabbage fry up. I found it on Pinterest the other day and it is low carb and only takes one pan to cook it so I'm sold. I'm adding to the recipe of course, extra veggies and spices and looking forward to having enough leftovers for dinner tomorrow night. I'm going to have a bit of a late night tonight, promised J I'd bring him coffee later on to rejuvenate him on the job (its a 24+ hour shift). We have not spent much time together since last week and its mostly my fault because I was busy with golf and being hungover and then work.

Speaking of golf, the ladies I golfed with want to do more team sports so we are considering organizing either a volleyball tournament or basketball. I think its just another excuse to buy more t-shirts and hoodies but who am I to complain, lol!

Great drop! And i'm glad your wrist isn't broken.
That's awesome that your golf buddies are planning to organize more outdoor activities. That's what the meetup groups I've been going to is about and it's awesome. Fun and exercise!

Just a quickie check in, was so busy the last two days. Heading out to the pub for the Seahawks game with my boyfriends!!! I say boyfriends because they are all boys and friends and J calls them my "other" boyfriends when they call and text and stop by unannounced at 4am for bacon. Once upon a time I was a dispatcher for a longshore and stevedore company with 120+ employees, 99%male...I have so many male friends if I ever have a party it will be a sausage fest because I only have like...12 girlfriends. Anyways, I just did my makeup with a whole Seahawks color theme, I think I look awesome but I know all the other girls at the bar are going to be like..."she's trying too hard." IDGAFFFFFFUUUUuuuuu. I'll hopefully get around to all the diaries tonight when I get home, can't stay out too late because I'm taking the kiddo with me and the minors have to be out by 2200.

You "ONLY" have 12 girlfriends? I have like... my best friend (who's being a dick right now) and maybe 3 other sorta girl friends and that's it! Though I don't have many good friends period so maybe I'm weird that way.

Lol, well...I grew up here and its such an awesome town we never leave (or we do and we wander back to raise our kids) so I have all my friends from high school and we are very immature. I guess in other towns and cities people just migrate away and never come home. We have a super good school system here though and a booming economy so people come back.

I got my fitbit yesterday! Synced it last night to my newly created account and now I truly know that I need to walk more! Well...I did like 3000 steps last night between like 6pm and midnight and that was with sitting and watching a movie with J for two hours. Today I'm trying something new. I'm meal prepping for the whole week! I have not received the new meal prep containers I ordered on amazon a few nights ago from Chefland but I have enough around that I can cobble together a ragtag bunch of containers, enough for lunch and dinner for me for the week. When I get the order though I'll have enough to do lunches and dinners for me and the kiddo for the whole week. *hesnotonboard* lol! So, I cleaned out my fridges freezer of meat, about 1.5 lbs of ground beef, three frozen chicken thighs and two pre-cooked and frozen chickn breasts and I bought tons of veggies. I plan to do several different spice profiles on the ground beef, but the thighs I'm just going to roast with salt and pepper and spice up down the road based on cravings.

I planned a busy week for the guys and I at work, tomorrow we will be crawling around under two apartment buildings and snaking out dryer vents, and grinding off rust and painting fuel tanks tomorrow, and more painting of siding and entryways at the other apartment complexes on Tuesday. Hoping for a very physically active week.

Also so happy my BFF in the whole world came home from vacation on Friday and brought me a big bottle of Rogue Sriracha beer! First football game we find on tv this week and that is getting consumed.
