this is an embarassing post but i feel like talking about it. today proved how little carryover there is from one type of grip to another for me. ive focused on supporting and got ok at some things e.g 500pd thumbless double overhand hold, 120pd thick(ATLEAST 3 inch handle) dumbell lift with 6 inch small hands yet i got a pitiful 38.6kg on the dynamometer in class today! even worse so did most of the other guys! the most i heard was 51kg.
how does everyone else feel about one type of grip helping with another?
