Half of Me:The Story of Fat Girl Slim

I felt like a little boy walking in on his parents while they are making love. I know about the parts but i dont understand what you are doing with them.

I felt the same way...good to see I am not alone :)

Here is the link to my outfit today for all those interested and who know why I am even posting them...

Today's outfit

So I dragged Abby to the gym again tonight, they have a daycare there which is open from 4-8 during the week. She calls it the 'clubhouse' (although the first time she tried to say it, she called it the craphouse...gotta love kids).

I got there at 720, which allowed me a 40 min time period to workout before I had to get her...I did a combo of weights and cardio...squats were 3x10 at 90 POUNDS!!! Dang that was tough, my legs are still sort of shaky.

I also did 3 x 10 of overhead presses w/the bar and 2 x 10 of some sort of bent over pulling exercise (my strength does not lie in remembering names). I did 2 x 10 of shoulder raises and 2 x 10 of bicep curls. There was no rhyme or reason to it and it probably was all wrong but it felt good.

Onto the stair machine...I was able to squeeze in 15 mins, starting at level 8 for 2 mins, going to level 10 and doing the majority of the workout at level 12, ending at level 13.

Now a bad deal, I totally soaked the machine at the end...eww...

It only said I burned 250 cals, which just seems like an injustice given how tired I was, but hey, it was something and hopefully the effects were long lasting. My endurance is really up on this thing but my form stinks, I have to bend over at the waist sometimes b/c of my back. I am sure this isn't right but it is necessary.

I still do not feel like I have undone the mess from the weekend and tomorrow will be no better. We are having a going away party for one of the associates in my office so it will be a wine and cheese Friday.

One of these days I will get back on track. Hopefully.

Ok, so I read the first 6 pages and the last 6... phew!

You are so inspiring, all that exercise, damn!

Really well done and I will be checking in again soon!

Good workout! I told you that your squat goal is doable. Hell you are almost there now. The one you cannot remember is a bent over row- great back exercise. Little muddled but you were pressed for time.:)

You have back issues? Ever think of a brace of some sort to help you out when you work out?
And who cares what the machine said- you felt good and you gave it a good go. All that matters. You work out so well for the amount of time you have.:)

Ah. Here is the Ali I know. Self degrading, insecure, doubtful...
Honey- you are back on track- at least from a exercise standpoint. You know you did not undo 80+ lbs of loss last weekend. You also know you did not do that bad this week. You never post food so I do not know exactly but c'mon. I cannot see you pigging out and eating 4000 cal every day.

You are back on track.
Just go easy on the wine and cheese.:D

Reminder: You are supposed to be full of sunshine and radiance today. I did not forget! :D

Oddly, she says things like this all the time - I wonder where she gets it from??? ;)

OMG my legs are still trembly this morning (afternoon??? I lost track). That was TOUGH. Now mind you, I loved every butt-kicking minute of it, but it was still a hard thing to do. I am going to have to stay at this level for a bit I think but I do believe that 100 by 6/17 is a doable thing.

I have an L4-L5 herniated disc and since losing weight it almost never bothers me but I do get numbness in my feet on the elliptical. I just have to be careful of posture and position and generally it works out ok.

I am never sure about my workouts, I try to get a lot in, I just want to be sure I am getting something out of it...I did feel good though :)

I don't post food (and I should) b/c I do a ridiculous amount of picking that I don't account for and I know that could have an effect on my weightloss. I should in an idea world write it all down, but I am also a first class scatterbrain so that doesn't exactly lend itself to that end. Doing so would be another form of accountability, one that I need, but one I am afraid to do.

Mmmmmmmmmm wine and cheese...considering my only food today has been some almonds and a kashi bar, I think I am ok :D

You already know this but I'm gonna say it anyway - eat! Need. More. Calories! :D

What is wrong with just almonds and a Kashi bar???
I have only had a freakin apple today- totally orgot to eat again.

Squat twice a week and you should be able to go up 10lbs every 2.
You ca nand will hit this!
