Hi all!
I'm a long time lurker and a first time poster.
I began my weight loss journey on my 21st birthday back on March 10, 2007. At that time, I was having some health issues that I attributed to my weight, and I decided it was time to make a change in my life. I suffered from very high blood pressure and headaches. I also felt drained of energy and was having breathing problems. I later found that these issues had nothing to do with my weight at all, but it certainly jump started me to make some long term positive changes in my life.
My starting weight was 260 lbs. and I am currently at 127 lbs. My long term goal is to get to 120, but I feel better than I ever have in my life, and I would be perfectly happy stopping here.
Here are my "before" pictures:
From Christmas 2006, I was about 260 lbs here
Also another before
Sometime in-between, I was around 195 lbs.
And finally after
