Hajni's Diary: I will do it because I can

Sunday morning here. I planned on going to the gym but I won't have the time, so I will just use my elliptical at home for 45 min. this morning.

My food is planned for the day, meeting my friend at noon to take her to lunch and see a movie.
Leaves me 3 hrs to get laundry done, pick up the house, do my exercise, take a shower and run out the door.

I better get going then.

Signed up for a 6 weeks challenge starting tomorrow, I hope I wasn't late with the sign-up. I usually do very good on challenges, keeps me accountable.

Thanx for joining:D:D:D

Thanks for starting it!!! :)

I am looking forward to this challenge so much, it is already helping me to focus on my health and think positive thoughts.

Goal is to lose about 1.5 lbs/ week during the challenge. I will go to the gym on Mon-Wed-Fri and one day on the weekend. Tue-Th will be home either on my elliptical or my treadmill and Sunday will be 3 mile run in the park(weather permitted). It is all subject to my work schedule changes though but this is the plan for now.
I still keep track of my calories online and I do my plan for the week on Sundays for the whole week. I have it printed out and I am sticking to it.
I am so determined to get back to the 142 I was before and hoping to lose some more but we will see.

I have my menu in such way that I don't deprive myself of any kind of food I like. My breakfast is different every day and I eat 5 times a day. Watching all sorts of things besides calories, protein vs. carbs, amount of sodium, calcium, fiber..etc. I like how pre-planning allows me to adjust to reach my daily intake of everything important. Like tomorrow's menu came to 3500 mg sodium, ouch too much, so I just went and swapped a couple foods with others and got it below 2200.

Tomorrow I will start listing my foods and my exercises as well.

seems like you have a great plan for the challenge =D

ARE YOU READY?!?!?!?LET"S DO THIS!

Wow thank you guys!!

I promise I will try to visit some diaries later on.

Went to the gym last night, had a great work-out. 25 min on the machines and then 30 min on the elliptical. I stuck to my pre-planned food, I even ended up eating less as I forgot that I had a snack of those sugar free popsicles in there for 15 calories and I didn't eat it.
Today we are going grocery shopping right from work so I pre-planned and did 45 min on my elliptical at home this morning!!
Besides feeling great I am full of energy while my co-workers are hugging their coffee cups and trying to stay awake!!

gotta work on figuring my food menu from Thursday on especially because of the grocery shopping. I ran out of fruits and veggies and that is a no-no in my house.

Peaked at the scale... it might be just some water weight leaving me but it showed 152.2 this morning!! keep that up!!
Hajni

SO HERE WE ARE ALREADY ON DAY 2 AND LOOKS LIKE WE ALL ARE DOING PRETTY DARN GOOD!! HERES TO A BUTT KICKING WEEK :sifone:

Hey Hajni! How's it going? Looks like you already joined a challenge.

I'm glad to hear you are back too. Good luck with your goals!

Sorry I only have 2 minutes to update.

I am going through an extensive audit (last 4 years) at work. Have no time for anything.
Still doing good with the diet i am following my food plan.
Planning to work out tonight if I get out of here before 6 pm.
Tomorrow I have a day starting at 6.00 ( the auditor is coming at 7) and have a long meeting scheduled for 5 pm, probably won't be home before 8-9pm. I am thinking of getting up 45 min earlier and get my exercise done. Will see how I feel tonight.

I really have to run, thanks for all the cheering , I am sorry I can't return the favor.

Hajni

Where there is a will, there is a way.

I got up at 5.00 am yesterday, did 45 min on my elliptical, was at work by 6.45am, of course the auditor didn't show up before 8.30 am. We were done by 4.00 pm (had a yogurt all day), then I had to go to another meeting regarding my second job, which I thought was going to take 1 hr. It took 3. So I didn't get home till 10 pm.
Peek at the scale : 150.6 this morning. It would be great to reach 150 and working in the 140s.

Being busy definetely stops me from any kind of binging. don't even have time to think about eating. keeping up with exercise as well, fitting into my life in any way I can.

Well im glad all is going well with the being busy and that you are still spot on with everything:DBut you usually are:)Good for you for getting up tha t45 mins earlier.I use to get up and use the elliptical for like 1.5 or so before I started my day, the only way to get a "real" work out in:)Backl in those days.

Im assuming things are going well emotionally also as I havemt seen anything in your recent posts to suggest otherwise?

Oh and awesome on your weight!
