Hajni's Diary: I will do it because I can

Just droppin by to say hi...Im glad to see you ahd a good weekend binge wise - yippee!!! It is the little break throughs that are meaningfull!!!Sorry to hear about your headache and nose - hope you dont get this flu/cold going around it is pretty brutual!!!

Hope your feeling better. It sounds like your weekend went well except for the cold.

I watched a food challenge last night it was for Disney. It was pretty cool - lots and lots of sugar!

Thanks ladies for visiting!!!
I couldn't make the gym last night, DH was working late. Oh well, there is always today. And I was not doing good food-wise either. About 1700-1800 cals again. Which is good for maintainance but not for loss.
TOM is about out the door and I usually see a big water weight drop by now, well it did not happen. The scale is showing 148 even. What a bummer.
My cold is on the mild side for good news. I am hoping by the end of today it will be gone for good.
I can't believe January is almost over. I have no plans for Valentine's day.

Hey hajni.. sorry i have been lacking in the support department lately. I am still without my laptop as you know. anyways.. school is been crazy busy and home life is getting harder and harder to focus on as i have school work keeping me busy too. ugh.. so the exercise has been kinda on the back burner which i am sure is part of what is making the numbers on my scale go up... :( anyways hope things get better as far as your cold and the number on your scale goes down to where you want it very soon. talk to you tomorrow.

Hi Hajni!
Don't worry about the water weight, it'll go down in a couple of days.

I feel the same way about January being already over. It went so fast! When we started the V.day challenge Valentine's day seemed so far away...But it's only two weeks away!

Thanks Heather and India for visiting.
I went to the gym last night and I had a killer work-out!! Loved every minute of it and I worked hard. I jumped on the bike first for warm up, 15 min, then I did the circuit training making sure my heart-rate stayed high the whole time, then back to 25 min interval on the elliptical then back to 15 more min. on the bike.
I realized that incorporating exercising into my schedule is not that hard. After I get home and do my chores, I would just sit and watch TV or read a book or waste time on comp anyway. So might as well use that time to go to the gym.
The water bloating finally left me last night, making me wake up every two hours to go to the bathroom.. I hate waking in up in the middle of the night, I always have such a hard time sleeping back.
But i jumped on the scale this morning, and almost did not believe it!! 145.4!!! 2.6 lbs left me since yesterday morning.!! What is it if not extra motivation? :hurray:
As of right now that is exactly 2 lb loss since last Thursday, we'll see what tomorrow's weigh in will bring but it seems increasing my calories to 1500, paying special attention to protein and reducing my exercise did the trick!! And I have to say, this is something I can do for a long period of time, I don't feel deprived, I don't feel exhausted from the constant exercise and I don't feel at all being on a "diet".
It took me a while to smarten up for sure!!! LOL

Glad to hear that you are feeling in a good mood today Haj. :)
Isn't it great when you get a big drop on the scale and just can't believe it?
I had the same thing happen to me this morning.
Jumped on the scale and was quite shocked to see 190.6 staring me in the face. That is a 2 pound drop for me as well. Had to get on the scale a few times just to make sure that it was right. LOL
Here's to hoping you finally have a good routine down that you can live with and that will benefit you in the long run!
Catch ya later~

Oh and as a side note, Dh and I rarely if ever celebrate V-Day. As we both feel that it is just a hyped up holiday. We both feel that we would rather have the "declarations of love" everyday of the year. Not just on one day that the industry tells you to.

Gratz on the scale reading! Looks like you are getting right back on track- this means I am too, right? :biggrinjester:

Hey there Hajani,

That's the kind of attitude that we like to hear!!!
I felt the same way last night doing walking lunges at the YMCA. I thought I would die. I even accused Kellie of trying to make me cry. Ya it hurt that bad.
Haj your doing great! Keep up with it and you will see great results.

Ha Bell, that was me. I was going to die, I'm sure Hajni has it all under control! ;)

Ha-ha, yes I am totally spent after each and every class!! Still and I have been doing them since last April. We keep changing things though so it is not boring but still is very hard.
I used to think I was going to die about half-way, now the feeling does not hit me until like 5 min left (it is a 30 min class) but it still hits me.. LOL

I think your trainer and mine got the same schooling and it was called : "how to torture your trainee's!!". My gym owner's favorite thing is the lunges. I cringe every time we have to do it.!!!
