Hajni's Diary: I will do it because I can

Ok, I woke up, weighed myself and it showed 145.4 Wow, that was my goal for next Thursday!! It gave me the extra motivation to get through the weekend!!
I am going to the gym later and had a great low calorie but very filling breakfast!! Protein pancakes... 300 calories for 5 big pancakes and I will be full till lunch time!!
Gotta run!!

Ok, this is Sunday night and I did very well on Saturday with eating not so good today. I think I am around 2000 cals...:cuss:
I did go to the gym yesterday and today as well, burning 550 cals each day. I don't think I gained today just did not lose per say which is ok. I was sooo good for 6 days in a row.
All ready for the next week!!! Will be reporting a loss on Thursday for sure!!
My food plan is all done for next week, all around 1350-1400 calories per day and planning to exercise in the morning on the NT and going to the gym after!!!

Those sound like some mighty packed pancakes! Do you have a recipe for them?

Gratz on the loss. I'm sure all the exercise will help counter the calories today.

My anniversary is coming up on the 21st, 7 years and still going strong..
Gratz on the upcoming anniversary. My hubby and I will celebrate our 20th on Tuesday. I was 18 when we eloped and so this year will do a renewal of vows and celebration to follow- but wont hold it till springtime.

My back is starting to feel a little better so I plan on getting on my Nordik Trak tomorrow morning.

I think I posted it in the recipe thread way back when but I am going to PM you with it. I love these pancakes, they are so full of protein and good stuff for you and soo low on calories for the quantity.

Wow 20 years!!!!! Congratulations!!! I love my hubby very much but this 7 years sometimes seems like 40!!! I can't remember the time when i was NOT married to him LOL!!

Thanks for overindulgance yesterday, woke up exactly 1 lb more today then I was yesterday morning. Nothing to worry about though it is just extra food and will be gone by the end of the day....
couldn't fall asleep until 1 am and then I was up at 5.30 am, I was tempted not to do my morning exercise but I talked myself into it and did 26 min on the NT. Tonight is boot-camp in the gym, we'll see if I can get there....

Right on track so far, now 8th day in a row I exercised. Eating was great, boot-camp was great, now just keep going and waiting for weigh-in on Thursday, I think I will be down at least 2 lbs.

Everything is going great apart from my life just being too crazy busy right now.
I am on track with the food, exercised every day so far and saw 144.8 on the scale today. I will change my ticker tomorrow for the official weigh-in and hoping it will be even a bit lower.
I lost an average of 1.85 lb/week on the Halloween challenge if I could keep that up for the V-day challenge i would be 135 by the end of it which would make me very happy. Well I plan on doing it, we'll see if it happens.
gotta run.

You are on a roll girl!

This time of the year seems busy for everyone, why is that?

Glad to hear you are back on track! I can sympathize with your busy schedule! Things are just starting to get back to normal . . well, my new normal with out Dad.

No pressure, but you need to stay motivated so you an re-inspire me. :smilielol5: I have been feeling kinda blah and need more inspiration to get "excited" about this journey. I know all I have to do is get focused and the rest will fall in place- so be sure to know I'll be visiting your journal daily! :bigear:

*hugs*

I am using my weigh in this morning for the challenge as I am probably not going to weigh in tomorrow due to the bleeding and such.. i feel awful.. i almost quiet working out and saying forget this its not worth it but i know deep down it is and that makes me feel so much worse.

anyways i have worked out the last two days and plan to go to the gym tomorrow also. so hopefully things will work themself out and i will know whether and how much i can really push myself by the end of this week. i'll keep you updated. talk to you soon.

Thank you Everyone for stopping by!!!

Yarmiah: I will be here and I will post my food and exercise schedule from now on... You were helping me along when I had the "blah" period.. It will pass for you as well. One day I just woke up and was ready to go at it again. I think we all need a little break now and then, our bodies and minds as well.

SweatPea: I am getting some inspiration from your diary girl!! You are working out like a mad-woman, I have to keep up!! :)

Tammy: Yeah, the gym makes all the difference at this time of the year. I just don't feel like going to my basement and doing my exercise videos. it makes me feel so lonely even that I don't socialize in the gym either. There are days I don't say a word to anybody, just go there sweat my head off and come home.

Heather: you know I am thinking of you girl!! Good for you to get to the gym again and please don't quit!!! The journey is hard but it is so worth it at the end. Not for how we look but more for our health and our family's health. I absolutely love going up two flights of stairs and not being winded at all!! I also love the fact that I am able to run!! ME who even winced at walking 100 feet before!!

Amanda: thanks for stopping in!! You are doing great yourself also!!

Ok, so today's weigh in was : 145
I am very happy about this, even that I saw a lower number on the scale yesterday, oh well. 2 lbs loss is 2 lbs loss!!! If I can keep this up I will be a happy camper!!

I agree with everything you say. Doing for our health should be the most important reason.
I hope I'll get to running too...I'm stuck to walking right now, running is too much for me.

Good luck with the challenge!

I was so busy last night, had no time to post. Food was ok, not great, I ate about 1700 cals but I also exercised 750 off in the gym, so over-all not bad. I did eat one of those frozen rice pilaf things and I looked at the box after and was shocked to see the salt content to be 1100 !!! over half of the daily amount. So needless to say I was up 0.6 lb morning, I am sure it is because of extra water retention. I need to make sure to actively look at the salt content of food besides the calories.
Jumped on the NT this morning, burned 200 cals in 25min. Still going to the gym tonight. Love to keep up the 2lb/week loss trend.

Nothing is planned for the weekend, just chilling out. Will go to the gym both days and will try to stay on track with eating.

I re-discovered beets. When I lived in Hungary I used to eat it pickled all the time and when I moved here I somehow forgot about that vegetable. I just recently started buying it again, now I can't have enough of it!! I make apple-beets salad, but my favorite is just wrap it in aluminum foil and bake for an hour in the oven. just peel it after and it is soooo awesome tasting!!!! not to mention the health benefits!! it has great amount of iron which I need because i have a tendency to be iron-deficient. DH is not exited about it, but I love trying foods cooked with different ingredients.
gotta run.

Gratz on the 145!!! I was pleasantly surprised that I lost this week . . 1.2lbs, but hey .. its a loss! Thanx for the continued inspiration and support- you rock!

I love beets! I have only had them from the can, and boiled but think they are fabulous. I have been known to eat a can for my lunch on occasion.

keep up the great work!
