Gutbuster busts a move

Day 16 - 15th Feb

Really good day today. Started off with a 3 hour bushwalk carrying my daughter, she ran for some of it and was absolutely exhausted. I did the mum thing and ate her leftover lunch, but it didn't effect my calories too much. Finished the day with watching an inspiring triathlon and went to the gym that evening.

Food:
- Kiwi fruit with natural yoghurt and 25g muesli
- coffee X 2
- 1/2 chicken sandwich
- spinach and ricotta stuffed pasta with salad of spinach, tomatoes, basil, peas

STRESS OUT! Husband being mean to me all week, came to peak today...ate salt and vinegar corn thins, which was only 200 calories so not a blow out. Silly man came home with chocolates, chocolate chip biscuits and a magazine to say sorry....obviously hasn't been listening to my goals for the past 3 weeks.

Exercise:
- 3 hour bushwalk
- bike ride to and from gym
- 600cal burnt at gym
 
Day 17 - Feb 16th

Very motivated this week, will try and lose another kg and get back into the 60s. My problem is finding the time to exercise this week...I have assessments already and I'm working from 8-5 with no lunch break to actually do my assessments, so I'll have to sneak out of duties to get stuff done...and that is stressful in itself, let alone having to actually DO the assessments. Argh, why did I choose to be a doctor?

Regardless of my motivation, I still didn't eat very well today.

Food:
- frozen yoghurt with berries, kiwi fruit and 25g muesli
- coffee X 2
- 3 salt and vinegar corn thins
- pack of sultanas and walnuts and 1 prune
- salad of spinach, spring onion, turkey, tomatoes, olives with a dressing of lemon juice and apple cider vinegar.
- chocolate and chocolate biscuits
- chocolate cake (tiny piece)
- Lemon pepper salmon, with spinach, peas, tomatoes and sweet potato

Exercise:
- 30 min walk
- 20 min vigorous weights
- Tae Bo DVD (35min)

Deficit: 933
 
Day 18 - Feb 17th

Normal day...got up, exercise, walk to uni, uni, walk home, dance class, study, clean and bed. No time to write all my food down, already recorded it in another place. Exercise was 50min walking (including 20min shopping), dance class, a 6am 20min high intensity cardio session, and dance practice 30minutes.

Deficit: 762
 
Day 19 - 18th Feb

I wore a pair of running pants out...this is an achievement...shows I must exercise sometimes! I bought a new pair and was off to the gym to try out my new pants. I really struggled through my work out today, I was tired and distracted. Today I saw too many sad sick people, and I made one cry. :( I'm not feeling very competent today!

Also bought a big bag of raw nuts and ate some on the way home...but to my dismay, they pack a whopping 600 calories per 100grams. I wasn't hungry all day and only ate because I was feeling tired so I still ended up with a calorie deficit of 1075 today.

Exercise: 40 min walk to and from uni, 600 calories burnt at gym, cycle 25min to and from gym.
