I started out with shorter distances as well, Just kept going longer and longer. Now I'm thinking to go and bike to my parent's house which is something like 70/80 km's, and ride back the next day (during a weekend) pretty soon
Meanwhile at the scales: 200.8 lbs...
So close to a major milestone, so excited
Dragged my ass out of bed this morning after snoozing the alarm a few times too many.
But did my run this morning, and did it properly. Just like the schedule said: easy peace. That has been hard for me so far, I tend to go all out which is fine if I want to run myself in the ground, but that's not the goal
So nice pace this morning, good flat heart rate to go along with it, so overall pretty good workout.
I press the snooze so many times I give myself about 10 mins to get up and out my door to work in the mornings so good job giving yourself enough time to do your workout!
Today I woke up early without an alarm clock. This healthy lifestyle has me getting up out off bed early. I used to be able to sleep in a good part of the Sunday, but this is so much better.
Already been out running, last time full throttle before the race on Saturday.
Today beer festival in town. You know I'm gonna be there
Had fun yesterday, nice weather, some good beers, good company. Did have some fast food when festival was over, so I definitely need to burn some extra calories this week
Which will happen, it's recovery week, so lots of cycling.
I'm the same way when it comes to sleep. I can sleep a day away, I just love sleeping! Lately though I've been getting up at around 8ish which for me is early (used to sleep until 11-noon). Sounds like you had a great time at your beer festival. It's nice to treat yourself from time to time, especially when you already have the game plan of how you're going to back on track. Job well done!
Feeling restless, no workout today. Just trying to take it slow(er) this week, so I can really kill it this saturday, my first race, which is a relay, so I must do my best on my 5k for my teammates.
Really looking forward to it
Oh I won't spare you the triumphant tales or horrid histories of my first official running quest
T minus two days and counting, I'd better rest up a bit after a final training run tonight.
So tomorrow a nice bike ride and on Friday doing nothing again.
