Guideon's diary of change

:( Did my Insanity workout for today, but wasn't a good one.
Kinda going trough the motions, not quite there mentally...

Also had problems with my hartratesensor, was seesawing from 60 to 230 bpm (that's like a nonstop heartattack or something), so something was obviously not right.
Think I found it, the cheststrap was to loose, sensor kept sleding up and down during plyo exercises. But it's a good thing, means I lost some cm's on my chest :)

Thinking about a nice and smooth bike ride this afternoon to see if the sensor is 100% functional again.

Did a coopertest today: 2.71 km
Hungover pretty bad, so I guess there's room for improvement. Think I should do at least a 2,8 when fully focused.

Calories went pretty well yesaterday, up to going out that is :toetap05:

food yesterday:
5 pistolet rolls ham & cheese
Banana
2 mini pizza's (love those, they are actually ment to be a snack, But eat them as dinner, 2 mini pizza's is at least half the calories of a normal (frozen) pizza, so I stiil get to have pizza while still counting calories.
Was at 1674 calories at this point
Then I had losts of beer :blush5:

You did way better than me, I had too many beers this weekend.
And it won't be getting any less pretty soon, next week grand reunion with old studymates, and the weekend after that there's a beerfestival in town... I'm gonna have to work so hard the next couple of weeks to lose any weight :sifone:
But I don't care, I had a briliant day today. Met up with two good friends today and besides having a excellent day we plannend a two week holiday in october. New York and Miami are our destinations.
I'm so looking forward to the second half of this year, going on holiday 3 times then (well 4 times if you count a weekend in London in september). Can't wait for that.

Ooooh, London! Lucky you. I live an hour from there and still only make it to London once or twice a year, if that. It's a great place. If you want good pubs to go to, I'll recommend some ;P Where else are you going on holiday? I'm going to Barcelona and then camping in England. Thrilling :p

London is gonna be a short trip, arriving on a sunday, back home on monday.
Gonna go to a NFL game @ Wembley.

First I'm gonna go on a hiking trip in Germany (with my dad) near Munich, then to London, then to the States and finally to Aruba. So looking forward to all of that :)
Barcelona is such a beautifull city, I love all those Gaudi sites there.

I work at an university, great benefits a.o. loads of free time.
I usually don't take just a few days off, tend to save them for just these kind of occasions, just hopping on a plane and getting outta here :)
Love to travel, no better time than the present to do it.

total calories 1710 today, which is really on the low side today, but that was to be expected with a very high caloric day yesterday.

Reverse Double day tomorrow, It's gonna be hot here tomorrow, and so I really don't want to go run in the heat at 5 pm, so I'll do my running in the morning and an insanity workout after work (which is gonna be crazy sweating, HIIT in this heat)

working out in the morning really kickstarts my metabolism, I'm hungry now. allready had my morningsnack, and lunch is still an hour away...

Decided to take the bike out for a ride. It was georgeous: no wind, light pack of clouds to keep me sheltered from the sun. Had a great ride, 40 km in 1h30min. That's 27 km/h avg, pretty pleased with that.

And especially for the good ppl of WLF I decided to put up some pictures.

so here's me, back in 2009:

You'll find there's a lot more down time in one of our football games compared to a voetbal game. You notice it a little more live than when on TV.

On the other hand if someone is on the ground and looks injured, he most likely _is_ injured. :)
