grow major muscle and lose fat at the same time

it's possible but a tricky task to do, as you have to eat less cals than your cals burning to lose the fat, but at the same time you have to take in alot of p[roteins for growth of muscle, so lose the weight and then concentrate on the muscle mass afterwards
 
Hard to make great gains in both fields; Clean bulking is another option, where you're trying to put on good muscle gains while gaining little to no fat (or even perhaps losing some, but not much) You eat a lot of KCal, but all healthy..
 
i've seen some people get cut and bigger at the same time. but like mreik said, it is hardd to make great gains in both. im kinda tryin it myself, but im goin more for the cutting.
