Ground Breaking Realizations....

Hey Elegance,

Thats damn close. only 1,4 pounds and you are on a milestone. Good work:)
I like your idea about the dvd, and if I didn't need a loot of things for my apartment I would wish for that too.
Anyway, I must say I got a surprise when I saw pride and prejudice from BBC on your list of films. Not because I think its bad, no not at all. I always considered myself a bit weird for having it - but its so good:) All the caracters are so great, and mr. darcy:) How Elizabeth can take her mother so calmly is a wonder... Well, enough of that or I'll be tempted to put it on right now:)

Yay! Another Pride and Prejudice fan! Yes, I could watch this movie over and over :) Have you read the book, it is even better if that is possable.

I love my new Avatar. It is the pumpkin I carved  I'm proud because I am so clumsy I usually can't do anything like that. I would usually just saw through an eye or something.

Feeling okay today. Had a taisty breakfast with one scrambled egg, two slices of cheese, and an apple, yum :p

Ug, but last night I made a mistake :( I went home, and my husband wasn't home and I went into old Olivia mode. I took the oppurtonity to be lazy, play the sims and eat a big bowl of mac n' cheese. Well, half way through the bowl it was the weirdest thing. It was like my body was rejecting it and I felt soooooo sick and bloted. I felt awful and made myself get off my lazy butt and clean. I was terrified to look at the scale this morning, but I didn't gain any way, in fact I lost .2 pounds, so I am glad I got away this time without consequences, but from now on no more mac n' cheese!!!

I'm so excited! This Saturday I am gonig to see Don Giovanni at Houston Grand Opera! I just ordered this really pretty shaw from lane bryant to wear :p I can't wait!!! I know by Saturday I will be under 260 and hott!

Today's top five is dedicated to that awful mac n' cheese last night.

Top Five Foods that for some reason I feel I MUST eat the entire box/package/whatever!!:::

1. Mac n' Cheese
2. ALL Mexican Food
3. Cream Cheese Wantons
4. Cheese Cake
5. Green Bean Casserole (I have literally had 8 servings of this one thanksgiving. Ew, I'm gross.)

Ug, I feel poopy. Mind if I vent?

Well, my grandmother died this weekend. The thing is I bairly know her, and she didn't even know my name, so I am not that upset. Well my dad, who is a total nut job (a nut job that I love, but still a nut job), is coming for the funeral. Well, I don't really think there is a need for me to get off work (which I don't have paid vacation yet) and drive four hours to waco that morning, and then four hours back. BUT, everyone thinks I should go, if not for my grandmother than for my father's sake. Well, after much thought I decided not to go, because I really don't have the time/money. Unfortunantly my family has been giving me this huge guilt trip that they need me there. So, I have finally changed my mind and I am going to try to leave at 3am, so I can get there and get out. It sucks, because my husband and I both know it isn't imperative that I go, and now I am afraid that family is going to cause yet another fight, or at least us not being happy with one another. WHY is there always so much family drama? I just don't understand. I am so happy to have found my husband. He is like a sanctuary for me, but those times that I have to venture out and deal with everyone else drives me crazy. :(

Thanks for letting me vent all.

Oh, and PS-I am still gonna stick to my diet at the funeral. In fact I am going to make a healthy breakfast casserole for everyone there :)

all families are drama, no matter how great a family you may have! so i totally understand where you are coming from, my dad is anti male, and only recently met my boyfriend who i have been dating for a year and a half... crzy no?! anyways, great job with planning ahead, that helps out sooo much when it comes to trips!

Thanks M2M for the encouragement. I know that my weight loss goals are pretty far up there, but I am really not even thinking of those long term goals. I am thinking of week to week. I figure you loose weight faster in the beginning so that is when I want to push myself the hardest. I know that it will take about 2 years for me to get the body i want. So, right now I am mainly focusing on day to day, week to week. Thanks!

A most beautiful post !!! You win :)

Hey Ele,

Thank you so much for the picture that was just what I needed this morning to put a smile on my face and get my butt in gear.
Sorry about your family, they sound just as butting in as mine. Sometimes family can just be a real pain. Unfortunately somethings are just mandatory when it comes to family, so I hope the funeral goes smoothly. And I also hope that they don't cause a fight. Maybe you and your husband can use this bad day as a reminder of how good you have it together (that you have each others support no matter what) in stead of focusing on the negativity the family otherwise inspire...
Have a great day.

Hey Ele

How are you? Guess what was on the tele last night? Not pride and prejudice, but "girl with pearl earing": Mr Darcy as longhaired:)
Well, I hope you had an okay time at the funeral, otherwise don't be affraid to vent in here - I do that too when things (cough, cough: famliy) is crappy:)

Hey Ele- I've been reading through your posts, they are so wonderful. After reading them it makes me think about my 5 top things :) All of the dresses were beautiful, but my fav was #2, you'll look smashing in any of them. Sorry to hear about all of your family drama, hope you had a safe trip to and back from the funeral.

Thank you so much everyone for your encouragment. Yesterday was pretty bad, but the good news is we survived! I really love my husband. And, that is all I will say.

I did okay yesterday. We went to Jack-n-the-box yesterday :( it was sooooo gross!...so today I am going to try to be extra good.

Today's Top Five:

Why eating at fast food resteraunts isn't worth it:

1. It makes you feel like you are gonna die after you eat it. I mean, you can literally feel that eeeewy fat going through your veins and through your heart and then into the fat deposits in my butt and tummy and arms.
2. It taistes bad! I got the Tomato Brushchetta Sandwich thingy and I know I could have cooked that way better!
3. The people are rude 99.99999999% of the time! On average I say thank you 4 times while at a fast food place, and those people don't even look me in the eye. Shouldn't they be thanking me for their paycheck?
4. It is so expensive! Yesterday my husband and I spent 14.00 at Jack-n-the-box.
5. Is it really worth the so called convenience and indulgence plus all the above to be set back in our goals to loose weight, to feel and look better, and simply be happier? I think everyone in the world should realize that fast food doesn't do anything for you except waist part of your day and life.

Oh, I'm so happy! A lady at my work just caught me in the copy room and said I'll look like I've lost a lot of weight. :) :) :)

Yay, I love when people notice (though I am not at that point yet, I am looking forward to it though:rolleyes: )
Well have a really nice day to day:)

Feeling pretty good today :)

I have eaten good, only had one soda, and drank tons of water so that is very good. Tonight I'm having my mom over for dinner at 7, I'm going to do one hour of dance dance revolution when I get home/while I cook dinner...and then work out for an hour after she leaves. then I am going to go to bed. :D There just isn't enought time in the day

Hey everyone. Sorry I didn't post yesterday, but it is so busy at my work around the end of the month. I haven't been doing bad, but I haven't been do good either. The scale just won't budge. I lost .2 pounds :( , but at least it is something. The truth is I know why I haven't lost that much weight, I haven't gotten my butt up and worked out  , so I am determined to change that TODAY! :D I have already went up to the 7th floor in my building today, and I am going to try to do it every hour on the hour, which would be 7 times. I might be really stiff tomorrow. And, tonight first thing I am going to play an hour of dance dance revolution instead of watching the simpsons, and then I am going to do laundry and walk on the treadmill. That will probably be about an hour and a half of walking.

I'm so excited because I think I am going to buy my friend's bike (if she'll sell it to me cheap enough). I used to love riding my bike, and it made my legs look so good. Unfortunantly about 6 months ago it got stollen. I just hope I can get into riding it like I used to years ago. We live in the Seabrook/Clear Lake area so there are plenty of pretty places to ride, and a lot of people are into biking.

Anyways, I'll try to post a top five later.

Hope everyone had a happy halloween! can you believe it? I didn't eat any candy.

Alrighty, I have thought of a top five today.

Top Five Women to look at and get inspired about being healthy!

2. Another Beauty, that was not a tooth pick in Lost in Translation but still very beautiful: Scarlett Johansonn (however you spell it)

3. Okay, this show is dorky, but that one woman on dancing w/the stars has a wonderful body (well they all do, this one just really makes me want to go for a run or something) These pictures don't really do her justice. Edyta Sliwinska

4. It isn't really that I think her body is pretty, she just seems to radiate energy: Uma Thurman

5. And last, but not least, one of my favorite actresses, Reese Witherspoon

Hey Elegance,

Good to see you are hanging in there. Stress just make it harder to stay at this - believe me I know, but eventhough you might have a "bad" day, just think how much worse the day really would have been before you started this. So keep up the good work with those stairs:)
See you tommorow on the 7th floor:)
